i know my momma was there for every part of it.

i give all my love to my friends & family for standing by me throughout this entire process. to have an army beside me during the most difficult stage of my life is a privilege i will never take for granted.

2025 has shown me how rapidly life can be stripped from you. how we as humans take what we know and love for granted. i wish i had the words to explain how last year impacted my life- how permanent grief is and how it lingers within the cavities of your chest clawing, and clawing, until every inch of you is filled with scars.

if i could share any sort of advice, it would be this:

anything and everything you’ve ever loved can be stolen from you in a blink of an eye. hold your loved ones close, take pictures, videos, record their voices. make as many memories as possible.
and most of all, wrap your arms around your mothers and never let them go. tell them you love them until you lose the ability to use your voice.

because one day you won’t be able to- and god forbid that day comes as soon as mine did.

momma, i did it.

thank you to my support system, my family for literally waiting on me hand and foot throughout the entire day. this wouldn’t have been possible without any of you and i’m eternally grateful, forever and always.

thank you to my coach for guiding me throughout this entire process, my first prep was a success no doubt about it.

the stage hasn’t seen the last of me- my time will come again but for now it’s time to grow, spend time with friends and family, and put in that work.

2024-

2024, as a whole, has been one of the most difficult years of my life. learning to navigate life knowing your mother is terminally ill is no easy task; you grieve a person who is still alive and it’s an ongoing feeling of impending doom that never goes away. i have a lot of anger pent up and it has nowhere to go; it stays bottled up inside me like a shaken can of soda ready to erupt.

with that being said, i’ve also met many beautiful souls this year i now call my close friends, i’ve gotten closer with some, grown apart from others. i can proudly say i enjoy the circle of friends i have today- and all of those friends have played their part in keeping me on the right track. i’ve had the privilege of watching my friends endure a prep and maintain dedication/discipline which lit a fire in my ass to compete this year.

i thank all of you, from the bottom of my heart, for giving me the love and support through this difficult time.

2025- i’m a force to be reckoned with, and you’re gonna be a year of accomplishment, happiness, excitement, & love. nothing less.
