#memorylanecollab 🌸
before i start saying anything emotional, i would really like to thank @vee__art for giving me such a wonderful opportunity to paint a very special person. i’m so thankful i was even considered to do such an amazing thing 🥺 please make sure to support all the other amazing.p artists that also partook in this collab! also, i might not be active after i post this.. please understand if i’m not replying to comments/dms for the next few days, thank you <3
before i start, a bit about this painting! i decided to add the blue, turquoise aqua colour considering pearl aqua is shinees official colour! i thought it would be a good and.. special touch to the painting! the flowers are forget me nots - they symbolise rememberance and love.
i don’t know how much i’m going to write but i’d like to write something for jonghyun.
jonghyun is a very special person to me. i find myself going to him in times of comfort. his voice and his words can heal a nation. it still hurts, and sometimes i feel guilt for feeling this way because i didn’t know him personally. some days i will smile and laugh watching/listening to shinee and jonghyun, other times sadness is the only thing i feel. he truly was a legend in my eyes, and i believe his legacy will live in forever. he has offered comfort and happiness to millions of people worldwide, and i hope he continues to do so.
to those out there who are struggling, please remember you’re never alone. but if you can’t find someone to be there for you always look up into the night sky to the moon and be comforted by the fact there are millions of people watching with you.

Forget-we won’t.
I'm not very good with words, and they don't exactly flow in this case. Just a quick word for those in pain, or in times of grief. Everyone experiences grief in their own way. Don't let anyone tell you 'its not right' or 'that's not the way.
Jonghyun was a big part of many people's lives, and the way we lost him makes us sit back and appreciate what we have. Spread love, don't be an ambassador of hate, and appreciate every living moment.
Live to remember those you've lost,
Make every day count.

Tears of Gold: The Artist in Stone

He longed to create something so profound.
All if he ever wanted was to share his mind with others, he knew they’d love the song in his heart if only they stopped to listen.
Day by day his patience would crack.
Soon his passion would turn into a nightmare.
Hard as a stone would turn, he had no more songs to sing

Vante they called him.
His pain etched in history.

So this is my first ever art collab.Thank you @vee__art for letting me be apart of it I had a lot of fun. Everyone who participated was so talented 😭💜🎨 I purple you all

Please go support the others
