POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Greensboro, y’all showed OUT! 🔥

Big love to Harley and Soul Relief Records for hosting us on October 17th, and to The Bodega GSO and The Bodega Soda for sponsoring the event.

Shout-out to Drew Prince, Keef Knox, Henry Cole, Snoff The Maker, and Grady910 for bringing their craft and energy to the room. And y’all already know the Open Aux was full of dope music!

BeatFreaQ isn’t a showcase. It’s a community. Think friends gathering in a living room, sharing their art, discovering new sounds, and connecting without the egos or gatekeeping. We’re building a space where creatives can feel comfortable being themselves and doing their thing. Everybody who came through helped make that happen.

Now we’re bringing that energy back to Charlotte on November 7th for our annual Second Harvest food drive, where we’ll also welcome new members into the BeatFreaQ Legion of Boom. Greensboro, make that trip if you can!

Then we’re back at Soul Relief Records on November 21st from 4 to 7 PM. Come early, sign up for the Open Aux, and bring something to share.

If you believe in creating spaces where artists can connect, grow, and support one another, SHARE THIS POST! Tag a musician, producer, artist, or creative who needs to be in the room with us. Help us spread the word and bring more good people into the community.

Thank you, Greensboro. We’re building something real, one gathering at a time. We are stronger together! Big shout-out to @wrightdesign75 capturing the moments and documenting the energy of our Greensboro gathering!

PHOTO DUMP 📸🎛️ FIRST BEAT MADE COMPLETELY ON SP 😬, UNO dates at dive bars with my better half and best friend

Random moments, random clips, and somewhere in the mix… the VERY FIRST beat I made on the Roland SP-404 MKII! 😬 Still learning, experimenting, and finding new ways to make some noise. That’s what it’s all about!

Speaking of making noise… 👀

SOUND PRISM is going down THIS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 21st at Hunky Dory Records in Raleigh! 💎🔊

Live producer sets, OPEN AUX, records, local craft beer, creative activities, and nothing but good energy!

🎟️ FREE to attend. FREE to play.

🎛️ Producers, don’t sleep! Open Aux registration opens TOMORROW, 10/19!

🔗 soundprismnc.com for all the details.

In the meantime, swipe through the randomness and tell me what you’re working on creatively! 👇🏾

Good food, good people, and good energy. That’s what it’s all about! 🥪

Henry Cole stopped by The Bodega GSO and grabbed the Jimmy Pesto. According to him, it’s one of the best sandwiches he’s ever had. Now THAT’S an endorsement!

The Bodega has some seriously good sandwiches, subs, salads, nostalgic candy, THC drinks, and all kinds of cool finds. If you haven’t checked them out in downtown Greensboro yet, what are you waiting for? Stop by during their open hours and ask for Amanda or Nate. They’re the coolest!

🎶 Soundtrack: “I C K D T” by Henry Cole

And catch Henry Cole performing at BeatFreaQ this Saturday, October 17th, at Soul Relief Records! We’re bringing creatives together for our monthly community gathering. Free entry, open aux, and good people connecting through creativity.

Go see the folks at The Bodega, grab yourself something good to eat, and come kick it with us Saturday!

🦆💎 WHAT IF DUCKTALES GOT FLIPPED INTO SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT?

For this one, I took a little piece of that classic 80s/90s DuckTales theme and chopped it up with Mos Def’s vocals from “Two Words” to create something that definitely wasn’t on the original soundtrack. 😂

And that’s exactly what Sound Prism is about.

🎛️ Producer sets. Beat flips. Open Aux. Record shopping.

If you make beats, DJ, remix, sample, or just love hearing what happens when somebody takes a familiar sound and bends it into something new, pull up.

🔥 OPEN AUX STARTS AT 5:30 PM
The online sign-up form opens October 19th.

If you want a spot, GET IN EARLY. Once the list starts moving, it’s moving.
