Today at The Morse Museum, I was so captivated by the Tiffany stained glass collection. Such a beautiful art form and so well displayed. Reminded me so much of watercolor. Was a wonderful experience today.

Lunch today was all fresh. I found Mirin so I made the eggs with it in the special Japanese pan. This was my first kneaded bread and I used the mixer. It needed more flour so it spread out but the taste is perfect! I am always learning something. Happy lunch for me and Kim.

We made it to Epcot’s Festival of the Arts! It was a beautiful day, very breezy. Lots to see and do with a surprise first thing - marching bands !! Had more sweet treats this time. Now that we are home, I need something savory!

Here is my finished travel journal. I will be traveling this year being pain free and feeling ready to see more of the world. This may be my favorite book. I created the cover, decorated the cover with stickers and the inside was stenciled and die cut hummingbirds added. I used premade small notebooks which are covered in paper and washi tape on the bound edge. The last element is a folder which I decorated with stickers as well as a die cut birdhouse, bird and butterflies. It gets grommets, elastic cord and some charms to be ready for the 2 books and folder to be inserted. This travel journal can have new books inserted in the future. It is a joy to create books!

We were there for the final day of Dinoland USA in Animal Kingdom. So sad to see this area end. Everyone loves dinosaurs! This was the first time Kim and I attended a closing. We were with our Star Cruise family. It was bitterly cold too - very unlike Florida! Still, to be there was very special. I even got to meet JoJo, one of our favorite YouTube vloggers. Good bye Dinoland, all the dinosaurs, shops, the dinosaur ride, the restaurant with all the bones and institute memorabilia. And Dino Santa! He was truly the most magical Santa of them all.

Today’s adventure at the Mertailor Aquarium Show. We had the best time getting to touch stingrays and starfish. The mermaid show was lovely! The fish in the tank danced along with her the whole time!

I made the most beautiful junk journal for my sketching! It is endless the types of secret pockets and books and tags that can be included. It will be a special place to draw in the two books I made and also file drawings or notes in the very center back accordion pocket. Beads circle the front flower closure. Bows adorn pages. It is my secret treasure space! Should I keep making these? The process is addicting I must admit. What do you think about my first fully adorned treasure space for my art?

I have been playing over the past 3 months since I couldn’t do much. Of all the things I tested out, the hand sewn book is my favorite. It is made with sketch paper so you can draw or write in it.
What do you think? Should I make more?
