Day 6 of Felabration 🎶🔥

The rhythm, the energy, the people, the culture and the spirit of Fela lives on! 🇳🇬✨

Here’s a glimpse of the moments that made Day 6 unforgettable, captured through my lens. 📸🎥

Some moments are too powerful to just experience; they deserve to be documented.

DETERMINATION

Story, story…
Just like yesterday, I held a mirrorless camera at Olojo festival 2025. I was running everywhere shooting at ISO 2000 outdoor to balance my lighting lol. I didn’t know much then, alI they keep telling me was if you wanted to tell a story, you first had to see it.

So I kept taking photographs with my phone and sharing them on my Whatapp status, unaware that there was a community in Nigeria dedicated to encouraging and promoting documentary photography storyhuntersng

Today makes it a year of shooting, documenting, and editing, while trusting the process. With the encouragement and discipline I received from my boss @h_o_studios I kept learning, failing, trying again, and growing.

Storytelling has taken me places. It has made me travel, meet people, interact with different communities, and see life from perspectives I may never have known otherwise.

But more than that, photography became therapy. I began to imagine how the world keeps changing, and how the people in it keep adapting. Frame it, shoot it, they say, Because that is the story and this is the lay down orientation. Where do we go…?

Working all day 🥲 because there’s no off in August

Getting busy or exhausted over a life you dreamt of living is such a flex 💪
And I am intentionally living ☺️🤍

Some moments don’t need hours to leave an impact, just a few intentional minutes.

I made it to Beyond Convention 2026, and although work called me away before the convention ended, every moment I experienced was powerful.

From @eric_gugua welcome message to @kagantech session, the atmosphere, the conversations, and the insights were nothing short of exceptional. I left inspired, even though I wished I could have stayed until the very end.

By the time I got back, it was over. It stung, but that’s life sometimes, duty calls. I’m grateful for the moments I was able to witness, and I’ll definitely be back for the next one.

Big appreciation to @eric_gugua, @beyondconvention_ and the entire team for creating a space that challenges, inspires, and brings people together.

Until next time. 🚀
