Tuturang Ring — a collaboration between Goof & Dats, marking the closing of Dats’ tour.

Set inside the unfinished warehouse of Kroma Madahuis, the night unfolded through raw and chaotic encounters between sound, digital visuals, laser, installation, and performance. Joined by Bazooka, Graung, Badsoju, Funtime, Diskotit, and Allam, each performer brought their own language into the space—from experimental sound and cymatics installation to video mapping, audiovisual performance, and butoh.
Glitch, laser, video mapping, experimental sound, cymatics, DJ sets, and a body moving through the space. No fixed boundaries between stage and audience. Just a room, a bunch of artists, and whatever happens in between.

Raw. Grunge. Chaotic.
A small experiment in how music, digital art, installation, performance, and people can collide in one space.

GURU is a performance that explores distributed selfhood and consciousness under technological mediation, asking how subjectivity is continually reshaped through our entanglement with artificial intelligence. Rather than treating AI as an external tool, the work approaches it as an intimate collaborator in the production of identity, reflecting Jeena Joseph’s proposition of AI as a “co-author of the self.” Here, technology permeates both conscious intention and unconscious habit, dissolving the boundary between human agency and machinic influence.

The work draws from the Estri warriors of Java, whose identities were constituted through ritual, hierarchy, and collective synchronization rather than autonomous individuality. In dialogue with the concept of cosmotechnics, this historical framework becomes a lens through which the body is understood not as an isolated subject, but as a participant within larger cosmological and technological systems. The performer’s costume, constructed from dismantled motorcycle parts sourced from Pasar Kreneng, assembles a mecha-girl figure whose hybrid body embodies the convergence of ritual tradition and industrial materiality. Echoing contemporary theories of the Girl as a subject produced through images, circulation, and technological reproduction, the figure occupies a liminal space where the human and the inhuman become increasingly indistinguishable.

Thank you everyone who made this possible!

Nonfrasa is delighted to present ‘𝘎𝘶𝘳𝘶’, an immersive one-day performance by emerging artist Kylie Lee. Stepping inside the exhaustion of trying to stay focused in a world that never stops asking for our attention, Lee engages in Jemparingan—traditional Javanese archery to search for a single, quiet moment. Yet, as the environment captures and echoes every drawn breath and rule-based movement back into the room, the stillness she aims for remains always just out of reach.

The space is held together by an audio mantra bleeding into the hum of a digital feedback loop. It aligns the never-ending, cyclical renewal of Balinese Melukat right next to the stylized, repetitive battles of anime heroines. Logically, they belong to entirely different worlds, but they share the same pulse: the understanding that our interior selves emerge through collective entanglement. Echoing the memory of the Prajurit Estri, who sustained the very structures that bound them, the work does not look for an untouched version of the self. Instead, it reaches for transcendence through merging—a space to witness the longing, and the beautifully messy, ongoing attempt to find our footing in a world we cannot control.

Showcasing on Technology with Sound and Visual

HUE ( @h_u_e_______ ) is an audiovisual art collective based in Bali, initiated by Divabhawana ( @divabhwn ) and Dian Yuniastu ( @dianyst_ ). The collective focuses on interdisciplinary artistic practices that merge technology, visual art, sound, light, and spatial exploration grounded in cultural research and local traditions. HUE develops works in the form of audiovisual performances that respond to social and cultural issues.

In its practice, technology is positioned as a reflective medium to reinterpret rituals, collective memory, and traditional values, transforming them into visual experiences that resonate with contemporary audiences. Through a research-based and collaborative approach, HUE fosters dialogue between cultural heritage and digital innovation, contributing to the development of contextual and sustainable artistic practices.
