Today, I’m asking our community to stand with my mother, Jennine Elaine Labuzan-DeLane.

My mother is currently being detained at Lafayette County Detention Center while continuing a long fight to protect her family’s land and deeds.

Throughout this difficult journey, she has remained committed to seeking justice and preserving the legacy of our ancestor, Charles Augustus Labuzan, whose federal land patents in Mississippi are deeply rooted in our family’s history.

This has been an incredibly challenging time for our family, but we believe that awareness, advocacy, and community support can make a difference.
