ART ALERT: Yart Sale tomorrow, hosted by my pal @susabers in her backyard in Somerville. Susan asked me to make a graphic and here it is…she is cooking up some non-bunny surprises and the second photo is a clue! Third photo my latest rabbit art! Unfortunately I have to cancel my own participation due to a mysterious wracking cough. But please drop by 48 Bay State Avenue to check out art by Susan, @hackercreations and @carolfonde during this fantastic city wide event produced by the creative and hardworking folks at @somervilleartscouncil ! If you happen to be on Cape Cod you can check out my buoy (to be auctioned to benefit @wellfleetpreservationhall ) (photos 4 and 5) or my cyanotypes in the benefit auctions at @paam1914 (photo 6) and @castlehilltruro (photo 7) and bid to support these amazing outer cape cultural resources!

In ONE WEEK, we’ll be hosting 55 artists, makers, and creative entrepreneurs throughout #InmanSquareCambridge for the Annual #InmanHolidayMarket ! December 17, 2023 from 11 AM to 5 PM you can meet these three Cambridge-based creatives as well as so many other folks. We’ll continue posting vendor spotlights all week long and you can also see them in our highlights if scrolling isn’t your thing.
* @beersoverboston “Over 15 years a resident of Inman - we created our Beer journey Instagram in Nov 2020 during COVID as a way to remain connected to the Beer Industry and all of our beer loving buddies in the safest way we could imagine. Along the way we made a myriad of new friends, career opportunities, and hobbies that turned into "jobbies"! Born out of boredom and an abundance of cool craft beer empties, we decided to upcycle these amazing works of art into a fun & functional keepsake. We sell a variety of CANdles (from beer to ginger ale to sake cups - there’s something for everyone!).”
* @hackercreations “I transform obsolete computer parts into sculpture, earrings, cuff-links, key chains, journals and more. I see parts as colorful abstract shapes and my work reminds people of the environmental toll of excessive consumerism.”
* @sophiehollandart “Sophie Holland Art began in 2020 and lives on as my creative and entrepreneurial respite during graduate school. I design stickers, greeting cards, and art prints, as well as a line of motivational punch cards that help people say no to things, cope with rejection, put themselves out there, set boundaries, and more. My illustrations put a whimsical twist on the foods, plants, animals, and objects that loom large in our every day lives, using a playful style to explore themes of cosmic insignificance and finding our way in a culture of excess. I’ve become a regular at craft fairs around Cambridge and Somerville and have displayed my art in the 1369 coffee shop. Engaging with the community is my favorite part of running this business!”

Made a little reel highlighting the nine pop-ups that made the #InmanIncubator their home base in 2022. What a fabulous gift to #InmanSquareCambridge - activating a space that was empty for several years, suddenly overflowing with art and craft and creativity. #PoppingUpInInman #CambridgeMA #WeAreWhatWeMake
