In Ireland we had the merrow, sea women who’d lure you away from the shore. My sirens just want you to stay out for one more drink as the sun goes down, because they know what’s good for ya.

Flamed Terrain will be shown for the first time in “Nurture: debut exhibition by Freshers”, a group exhibition featuring five artists, organised by Fé Collective. This exhibition is the launch of the second year of Fé Collective’s one-year programme, Freshers. The exhibition brings together works from artists who nurture their practice through revisiting personal memories, reflecting on kinships, reinventing materiality, and reimagining ways of storytelling.

Fé Collective is founded by Lydia Higton & Lydia Smith, Fé (Portuguese for faith or belief) is a collective that aims to create time and space to foster critical dialogue and equip the next generation of female artists.
