oh the places i'll go

a scurry and a scamper
dashing here and thereabouts
never a thought or worry
but in a rush nonetheless

it's not for identity or love
nothing deeper than a snack
no fear of existentialism
the anxiety coexists with peace

the joy, the whimsicality
perhaps there's a lesson
life is meant to be experienced
without fear of what it means

while i sit drowning in my thunder
cursing the sky for shining when im dark
the little friends reminds me of what ive lost
a happiness from letting go

yes, we coexist but we will never relate
what i wouldn't give to be simpler
for my mind to occupy only the ground before me
and forget the storm within

we have our moment, eyes meet
curiosity and fear, loneliness
the animal instinct to survive
like must really recognize like

the groove got us dancing~

One more time, SWAT style!!

I’m eternally grateful for the people, memories, and the grace of the Lord who made this incredible experience so good. Serving these campers, while being tiring and physically exhausted at times, was the most fulfilling thing I’ve ever had the privilege to do. I met some of the most Christ-centered and hilarious people, and I couldn’t be more proud to call them my swamily.

Thank you Jesus
- Lovelett 💕

Three years ago I walked into JPII not knowing just how much this place and these people would come to mean to me. The friendships, memories, and moments have left a mark on my heart that I’ll carry long after graduation 🎓
