🩵 If you spent any time at FCCW this summer, then you probably had the pleasure of meeting Hadeel Boufarhat, our Getty Marrow Intern! In addition to making contributions to CO—CO Press and FCCW communications & programming, he also was working on a personal artist project. These are photos of Hadeel Boufarhat's completed soft book, El Gharb El Gharib (The West is strange), cyanotype on fabric.

After 28 years as Faculty and an Associate Chair at ArtCenter College of Design, I’m saying goodby. It’s been a long eventful trip. Thanks to the tremendous faculty as well as my friends in the office and beyond. We’ve been though a lot. I’ll especially miss the students. It’s been the greatest honor witnessing your discovery and spirit. I’m looking forward to returning full-time to the studio and growing the gallery. Thom and I have some adventures to attend to as well. Thanks for the love.

I have been so extremely excited to finally share my summer trip to Berlin, Germany. It's very difficult to find the right words on what this trip meant to me, for both professional and personal reasons. I have over 1,000 photos from this trip, so narrowing it down to 20 was extremely difficult. This experience was unforgettable and was more than I could've hoped for. To share my work in a beautiful part of the world that I have only dreamt of visiting, and to have spent time with such wonderful artists that I can call my friends, is something I deeply cherish. This opportunity to live one of the best moments in my life will forever be sacred to me.

Our @neweyeberlin @artcenterillustration exhibition consisted of our interpretation and process used within Folk Art. I immediately knew I wanted to do my own take on Krampus, a German folkloric figure, and created an articulated doll. Lots of labor went into this project, but I couldn't be happier with the experience I gained from the process. I also created my first woodblock carving and sub sequential prints! They are titled "Grimm" and "Blut". I am deeply grateful for the support and critique I received from my wonderful instructors, Aaron and Christine. My biggest thanks to my dear @stinky.crow for providing his intellect throughout this project!
