Este 30 de Octubre se realizará ARROMPEVOZ en el Centro Cultural de Padre las Casas. El evento es de carácter gratuito y sin fines de lucro. La invitación es completamente abierta para todas las personas de todo origen y condición, es decir puedes traer a tu abuela, tu tía, papá, mamá, hijos, hijas, etc para que puedan presenciar porque la música extrema es tan única. La jornada comienza a las 16:30 hrs. con la apertura de puertas. En el área de acceso las personas asistentes podrán encontrar una variedad de stands y exhibiciones mientras giran los vinilos de Blackstar. A las 18:00 hrs. comenzará la proyección del documental sueco del 2025 “JAWBREAKER” que gira en torno a la emblemática banda Anti Cimex, dirigido por Tomas Haglund y Oskar Sjödiny. Oportunidad para quienes no puedan asistir a la proyección en Temuco del 24 de Octubre o simplemente para quienes quieran verlo de nuevo. Finalmente a las 20:00 hrs. comenzarán las bandas invitadas. El evento se realizará en su totalidad dentro del Centro Cultural, por lo que el evento es libre de alcohol. De todos depende cuidar el espacio y poder seguir teniendo este tipo de instancias. Nuestra intención es que se repita con otras bandas y material audiovisual. Nos vemos! 💥 The Anti Cimex Doc Screening SOLD OUT 💥 BIG thank you for everyone that showed up yesterday, we managed to sell out designated seating spots and also did not turn away anyone that came later, we managed to accomodate standing spots as well! Great job @haglundhanstomas and Oskar Sjödin on an amazing movie! Big thank you to DJ @nahthan and DJ @beer_muse for spinning hits after the screening, amazing all swedish punk distro by @prankrec, the huge metal and punk distro by @shadowplay_records and awesome Svenska Shockers tape comps by @shelterseek and @brainsand.records! 💥 TOMORROW💥 Come tomorrow, on Thursday September 3rd, to Eli’s Mile High Club for the Oakland premiere of the absolut rå punk documentary on ANTI CIMEX! We’re gonna be hanging out there since 6pm, be sure to get there on time as the movie will start at 7pm sharp! After the screening DJ @beer_muse and DJ @nahthan will start spinning your fav metal punk dbeat hits around 8:30pm! There’s gonna be a total dbeat distro navigated by @prankrec, and punk and metal records sold by @shadowplay_records! 💥💥 THIS THURSDAY 💥💥 The Bay Area screening of Jawbreaker - the documentary about the swedish kang punk kings Anti Cimex! 💥 Take those dekt out leather jackets and boots out, grab a drink before the movie, we’ll watch the movie at 7pm sharp, and after that we will listen to all dbeat metal punk vinyl sets by the magnificent DJ Cybernate Scabies (@nahthan) and DJ Nixter (@beer_muse). There will be three distros: - a 100% kang punk distro by @prankrec - a metal/punk distro by @shadowplay_records - @shelterseek has made awesome swedish punk comp casette tapes that he will have for sale! THANK YOU to everyone who showed up for the Pacific Northwest theatrical premiere of JAWBREAKER! It was a grand communion of friends, old and new. Very special thanks to DJ Skelly Skell for blasting us with a heavy dose of Swedish punk before the film, our projectionists Matt Cunningham and Melinda Kowalska for their attention to detail and @saga.visual for capturing all of the moments seen here. It was a true whirlwind, so capturing moments like these ain’t easy! Thanks to our friends at @blackwaterpdx for taking care of us at the after party too. Lastly, hail to filmmakers Tomas Haglund and Oskar Sjödin for the excellent work and all of the members of ANTI CIMEX through the years for surviving to tell the tale. 🇸🇪

ANTI CIMEX WEEK STARTS NOW!!!!!! 👊🏻🇸🇪👊🏻 This Saturday 𝐉𝐀𝐖𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐑 (2025) makes its Pacific Northwest theatrical premiere and of course we have a very special surprise waiting for all of you diehards! The band’s urgent and abrasive style, which took influence from England’s d-beat pioneers Discharge, has become the blistering gold standard for music as warning. From their raw debut EP Anarkist Attack through their final live recordings, Anti Cimex’s cultural influence and cult following continues to grow more than 30 years later. 𝐉𝐀𝐖𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐑 offers a surprisingly candid and contemplative portrait of the musicians behind the noise. Filmmakers Tomas Haglund and Oskar Sjödin lovingly peel back the studded leather from the band’s elusive mystique to expose the heart, soul, friendships and struggles of Sweden’s absolute loudest (and drunkest) export. Announcing the Oakland screening of Jawbreaker - the absolute Anti Cimex documentary, taking place on Thursday, September 3rd, at @elismilehighclub 💥 Anti Cimex is the band that shaped Scandinavian hardcore punk and became one of defining bands of the d-beat subgenre. From raw recordings in a chicken coop in the Swedish countryside, to punk scenes around the world, the film follows a band whose uncompromising energy and political charge continue to resonate worldwide. After the screening of the documentary, we will have DJ Cybernate Scabies (@nahthan) and DJ Nixter (@beer_muse) spinning true Anti Cimex inspired kängpunk and dbeat all night long! On the event, there will also be a 100% kängpunk distro provided by @prankrec , and a metal punk distro by @shadowplay_records! Next Tuesday 08/11 we’ll be teaming up with @soundandfuryfest to present a special screening of the new documentary JAWBREAKER: A documentary about ANTI-CIMEX with Q&A by directors @haglundhanstomas & Oskar Sjödin moderated by @soyoudidathingpod Jawbreaker: A documentary about Anti Cimex – the band that defined Scandinavian hardcore punk. Directed by Tomas Haglund and Oskar Sjödin, Jawbreaker spans four decades of music, chaos and retold myths. Tomas Jonsson’s iconic voice, the band’s political charge and raw dynamics form the backdrop to the story of how Anti Cimex shaped both a sound and a subculture. Through international filmmakers, archive material and newly recorded fragments, Jawbreaker takes us from Skaraborg to Kuantan in Malaysia, from DIY scenes to the Swedish Music Hall of Fame. It is a film about creative friction, a band that refused to follow the rules, and about the resonance their music has in a contemporary world that is disturbingly reminiscent of the gloom of the 1980s. Transparency report: we raffled off a couple copies of the Jawbreaker Edition of Scandinavian Jawbreaker at our screening in Chicagon raised $240 for @malak_family20 !! Thanks again to Raphael and Optical Noise, Facets Film Forum, Warfilth, Liars Club, Cimex Records, De:Nihil Records, Tvåtakt Records and all the punks, fools, rockers who came through on a Thursday night.
