You call us witch like it’s an insult.

I should put you in my witch’s brew- you’d make a lovely tea, maybe… x #happyhalloween

Goodbye beautiful year.
Thank you for your lessons, achievements and everything in between you gifted me to experience. You showed me things to let go as well as things to hold closer. For that alone, thank you and warmest good bye.
I am ready for 2024. #happynewyear

For every sweep or guard pass you learn, there is always a counter. And that's what makes jiu-jitsu so addictive.

Thanks for a great session today, ladies!
.
For the more experienced ladies, today we revisited some half guard sweeps and a sneaky loop choke, while our newer members (hopefully) enjoyed some sparring-style games and exercises, culminating in an RNC (rear naked choke - we promise, it’s not as weird as it sounds). Great effort from everyone involved!
.
Please let us know if we didn’t tag you - apologies if we missed you out 😭

A real pleasure for me to be at the @grandunionbjj grading Friday. It was great to celebrate the successes of so many, especially friends I’ve known for years who’ve overcome a lot of adversity in their journey to blackbelts and also beyond.

@cesarlimabjj and his coaching team @maxgorila @igor_terreco @renatotarullo @delyma.nutrition all had a key roll in my own personal journey, and continue to develop amazing athletes and it’s a pleasure to see the club continue to grow from strength to strength!

Seeing 20 blackbelts on the mats is something I haven’t seen for some time and really shows just how much the sport has grown 👊
