POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The magical moments don’t always include a win. They include taking a rider from her first lesson to her first Eq Final and her first Capital Challenge - along with her first 3’6 equitation classes. This pair had not done the eq since BRCHS in July, so it took a couple of classes to knock the dust off - with only one mistake in each class. Our last class of the day yesterday ended under the lights in a ring they’d never seen and they brought it all together. With just an unlucky rail at the end bringing their score from an 85.5 to 81.5 - they still received a ribbon 💜 in a super age group eq class. I’m just so lucky to be a part of this journey. It sure was magical standing under the arch with Ivy - with her game face on and The Boss - always game. Thanks to everyone who has helped get us here and my village. Especially @hmessineo and @charliehunter.eq for unbraiding The Boss in the dark - well it was actually a beautiful sunset! Thanks @ivy.smith_1 @tiffbsmith and @bscottsmith1 for all these years that are going by in a blink! Thanks to my village at home that keeps everything rolling - even though they’ve been rained out all week and have to put blankets on - when it was 100° when I left!

$Happy Happy Birthday to Ariel @mermaidsecula84!! Ariel is so many things - mostly she is servant to The Boss 🤣 even when he bites her and an amazing mom to Bray. Ariel is up for anything - teaching the littles, riding with anyone at anytime, dressing up for holidays, and even doesn’t mind changing the course these days (unless it’s 100 degrees). She dislikes the cold, bugs and fractions, but we can deal with that 😉. Happy Birthday! Hope it’s a great one!$
