10 years of Flutter Kicks 💙

What started as a summer side job turned into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

I grew up swimming in summer leagues and year-round club teams at The University of South Carolina, moved to Nashville in 2014 to pursue music, and taught swim lessons on the side.

In 2016, Flutter Kicks was born, and now we’re celebrating TEN YEARS in Tennessee! 🎉🙌

I’ve been teaching for almost 20 years, and I can honestly say, there’s nothing like watching a child go from “I don’t want to” to “watch me do it again.” 🩵

That moment never gets old!

What I’m most proud of now is the team behind it all! 👏🫶

@marykatemetts you’ve been my right hand from the start!
@ava_mcwhorter and @hannahruthmetts you’ve both helped build the foundation that keeps everything moving.

And every coach who has been part of this, you’re the reason families trust us and kids succeed! 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

We’re just getting started! ✨

We’re growing into new markets and working toward a licensing program so more people can build something meaningful and help more children learn a life-saving skill.

Because this is more than swim lessons.
It’s confidence. It’s safety. It matters! 💙
