Seeing a lot of my girls’ “last first day” posts has finally made it hit me… this AAU season is truly over.

What a special group. From my seniors, who I’ve watched grow since they were freshmen, to my younger babies who became such an important part of this team…you all made this summer unforgettable.

Thank you for celebrating life’s happy moments with me, walking beside me through the hard ones, and embracing our faith together. I’ll never forget the moments we shared, on and off the court. You reminded me that basketball is about so much more than the final score.

I love each of these girls and their families more than words can express. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journey. I’ll always have your back, no matter where life takes you.

Now go have an amazing school season. I can’t wait to watch all of you accomplish incredible things. 🤍🖤

P.S Sorry I couldn’t say this in person 🥹
