Texas FFA 💌

Thank you for welcoming me with open arms and making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Every conversation with members, every workshop, every session, and every moment shared throughout the week reminded me why this organization means so much.

To the Texas FFA State Officer Team—thank you for the example you set. Your impact isn’t found only on stage, but in the way you intentionally make every person feel seen, valued, and like they belong. You lead with authenticity, serve with purpose, and leave a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross your path.

I am incredibly grateful for every conversation, every lesson, every laugh, and every retiring address that challenged and inspired me. Thank you for allowing me to experience the heart of Texas FFA.

Until our paths cross again, thank you for reminding me that home isn’t always a place—sometimes it’s the people who welcome you into theirs. 🤍

Day 1 of The 98th Maryland FFA State Convention! 💙💛 Tuesday morning, our 33 members attending State Convention headed to the Wisp Resort and Garret College in McHenry MD! Tuesday included amazing workshops with the National FFA President, Trey Myers, as well as Visiting State Officers, Sarah Marshall from Tennessee, Gabe Kitamura from Idaho, and Alexis Butler from Pennsylvania! Some of our members also had the opportunity to tour the Wisp Resort to learn about their snow making process in the winter, and how they care for the grounds in the summer! We had four teams compete on Tuesday, the Ag Sales, Environmental and Natural Resources, Livestock Judging, and Dairy Evaluation teams! After dinner, all members attended the first general session, where we got to meet the State Officer Candidates, hear from National President, Trey Myers, and support our State Sentinel, Lilly Rumpf, as she gave her Retiring Address! Finally, to end the day, we got to meet members of other chapters at the ice cream social, and watch our very own Valeria Lake get hypnotized!
