⭐️Finally, after a full week, I think we have started to come back to earth from the last show adventure! 10 horses which meant two trips out on Wednesday and two trips home on Sunday, endless packing/laundry/grain bags/hay bales etc, quite literally all hands on deck for 5 days straight. Not to mention 95+ degree weather all weekend! I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for all of the people who pitched in to make it one for the books! Each of my students had a stellar show and I am so proud of them! They all stepped up to the plate when it was game time and showed everyone what hard work and dedication can achieve! I could not be prouder or more honored to coach each of you and care for your horses. ⭐️Meagan and my 19yo London are a new match and this was their very first outing together. Scores in the 60’s all three days at 2nd level and two more scores knocked out for her Bronze! London is not easy and Meagan is the perfect match for this spooky, special guy :) ⭐️Hailey and her 5yo, Martini, showed up and took names-again. This special young horse has continued to impress us with his unflappable demeanor and incredible trainability-he scored another 70% in second level! ⭐️Amanda and Convoy were all business as usual and took home first place in the 4th level Jr/Yr CDS Championship category of the show! 65% both days and a victory lap to cap it off. I can’t wait to see these two keep progressing! ⭐️Bridget and her sweet boy Dino placed first in the FEI YR for CDS championship in the PSG class! 64+% all weekend and they looked beautiful doing it! Bridget also worked her butt off all weekend on top of competing! ⭐️Liz with her gorgeous gelding Werbel kicked absolute butt in the Grand Prix all three days! Also taking home first place in the GP CDS RAAC class with scores to over 66%—in the SNAFFLE! I’m so impressed with how far these two have come! ⭐️Susan and her gorgeous mare Rubi have just started to scratch the surface of what they are capable of. But they were able to snag 60+% at 4th level the last two shows and bring home the blue for the CDS RAAC Novice 4th level championship! Congratulations to all of you and of course- THANK YOU! 🙏🏻

☀️We had so much fun riding down to the McCoy equestrian center and this weekend and letting loose! As evident by the first 5 seconds, Dewey clearly had the most fun. 🤩 It feels so good to let the horses rip around and stretch their legs every now and then. Safely of course 🙌 Martini aka baby giraffe 🦒 and London the grandpa were perfect trail ride companions! We only have a few stalls open here at @piequestrian so if this looks like something you’d love to have in your backyard-don’t wait to call us!

⭐️Region 7 and CDS Championships 2025 results: ⭐️Optima aka Dewey- 3rd place 6yo futurity amongst a HUGE competitive field. Scores over 70%. 5th place Great American 3rd level open 69.3% and 4th place CDS 3rd level open HOY 68.9%. An incredible end to a tough year of learning changes for this boy! ⭐️Vestervangs Montenegro aka Martini 4th place 4yo futurity (Blair aboard) with a whopping 79.8% in the Materiale. Just 6 weeks after being imported, this incredible youngster is blowing our socks off! Not one foot out of place and a perfect student all week 🥹 ⭐️Martini and mom aka @haileyhalldressage scores to 73%!!! First show together! Unbelievably proud of this duo and what they accomplished on their first outing together. The sky is the limit! ⭐️Donna Rubina aka Rubi FEI debut at PSG in the open show with scores of 64%, 66% and 65%. I am positively blown away-And I’ll admit, I even became emotional after we saluted on her first PSG. This mare has come so far and I am honored to be piloting her through her first year at FEI. Even more so after she helped her mom @donnarubina_1 earn her bronze medal just a few months ago. 💪🏼 #girlpower ⭐️Optimaal aka Opie 6yo Futurity 6th overall in a huge and competitive field, Great American open 3rd level 66% and 10th overall and CDS open 3rd level HOY 5th overall and 68.3%. So pleased with the little horse that could, letting both his mom @patriciakhart and I bring him up the levels! ⭐️Lord Hof aka Enzo Great American I1 Open Reserve champion 67.2% CDS I1 open HOY 5th overall 63.7% (rider error off course 🤦‍♀️) and CDS I1 Freestyle HOY Reserve Champion 70.3% WOW is all I can say. I love this horse and I am so thankful to his mom Nicki for trusting us with him ❤️ ⭐️Last but not least-Phelps! My 5yo futurity catch ride. Huge thanks to @kedressageponies for being as crazy as me to put this together! Phelps is a star in the making and someone needs to snatch him up! Huge thanks to our sponsors and support team as always, we truly can’t do it without you! @sarah1234salas @havenshorsefeedusa @formula707 @horsebyhorsellc @celerisuk @newmovmentequestrian @cottageequinedressage @cuatxtack @sandandseasaddlery

⭐️This is just a fraction of a snippet from 3 days of competition here in Sacramento. I cannot even begin to express how proud I am of this team and these horses! ⭐️It feels like it’s been a long Holiday Season this year! Nonstop since Thanksgiving week. So shame on me for never posting a full show update from Thermal in November! 5 horses, 4 riders, many helpers and endless fun! What a great first outing for some of our new pairs. ⭐️Elizabeth and her handsome 5yo Belano EDI had a stellar maiden voyage, winning every class they entered over the weekend with scores to nearly 70%! Beau is coming right along and scored 75+% with Blair Training and First level. What a superstar this guy is! Congrats to Elizabeth and Beau. ⭐️Hailey and her Candy crushing Napoleon had their 3rd level debut and did not disappoint! 67+% in all of their classes and nearly flawless flying change execution! Good boy Napoleon! Can’t wait for all the progress to shine in the next show with these two. ⭐️Blair rode two horses in the I1 this show (big thanks to show management for being such awesome schedulers!) and had a blast doing so. Enzo aka Lord Hof is a horse of a different color, with feathers and mane flying he cantered his way to 65+% in the class on Sunday, beating all the warmbloods! Enzo is a new partner to the team, just this past spring, but he and Blair are becoming fast friends. Such a fun horse with so much heart. Clearly his flying changes need to be a little more uphill 😆 Next, Blair brough London out of retirement for a bit of show ring fun..Albeit tense fun...London is nearly 18 years old and still showing everyone how incredibly athletic he can be. 63+% in the I1 with lots of mistakes from tension (Wind is deadly if you didn’t know) but he and Blair are old pals, so this is just for memory sake! ⭐️Last but definitely not least, Susan and her gorgeous mare Donna Rubina had their very first show debut after being together for nearly 8 years! Scores to 67% all weekend and some flawless moments, we are so excited to see these two continue up the levels. Susan has been working hard all year on her trusty schoolmaster, Stoney, so to see her and Rubi looking so professional in the ring was definitely a treat! Onto Del Mar in February! 💪🏼

⭐️A day late and if you have horses, always a dollar short. But how could I skip National Day of the Horse! I owe everything to these creatures! I had to stop scrolling through my favorites and just stick to these few great moments. Horses have brought so many amazing people and experiences into my life-I can never be grateful enough. Here’s to you-horses! ❤️

⭐️A handful of candids from the most amazing show weekend at one of our favorites @deserthorsepark for the first show of 2024/25 season! So many firsts and so many amazing accomplishments! I am beyond thrilled with this group for their undying commitment and dedication to being better riders. ⭐️Each one of you make me so proud to be your coach and I can’t wait for what’s to come. You all look fabulous! It truly takes a village and we for sure have the best village around. Thank you for trusting us in this process and believing in my program! ⭐️So happy to have my sister and my mini me here for the weekend (an annual event now) to share this special show with us. Ryan is officially horse crazy and the next generation of horse girl in training. Huge thanks to our amazing groom Chloe for making sure we are clean and shiny and ready on time! 💪🏼 A more thorough update and pretty photos to follow. But for now, just gratitude and appreciation ❤️

🤩 This group deserves a whole post. The BJN Dressage team got out of our horse clothes and cleaned up for an early holiday party! Unbelievable food, treats and company. I couldn’t ask for a more supportive, positive and fun loving group of clients and supporters. This celebration was for all of you! None of our success would be possible without each and every one of you and I’m so proud to call you my friends. We are geared up and ready for the new show season and I can’t wait for all of the adventures to come! Thank you for making this horse crazy girls’ dreams come true and trusting me with your goals, aspirations and development. 💪🏼 Go team BJN!
