It’s with tired hands and a full heart that Daisies takes a bow at the end of our 2026 wedding season. Our final act of flowering @monteverde.at.oldstone for M&J was a lovely celebration of fall color, with that touch of blue I’ve really come to enjoy seeing next to burgundy and taupe-y pink!

After flowering for 16 different couples this year, I’ve learned more about myself and my vision for the future of our studio than I thought was possible. What I never expected to find was the beautiful community of people I’ve come to call friends along the way … freelancers, clients, farmers, planners, photographers and fellow florists alike.

There have been very early mornings, very late nights, buckets in every available corner, more trips to farms and markets than I could possibly count, and a whole lot of learning as we went. But somewhere in all of that, Daisies started to feel less like a little idea I was chasing and more like the studio I always hoped it could become…with a space to call our own too!

I’m so grateful to every couple who trusted me to make something beautiful for them this year, and to every person who lent their hands, flowers, advice, encouragement or friendship along the way.

For now, the snips are getting a little rest while I focus on planning for the amazing projects we have lined up in 2027, plus an update/upgrade to the website and admin we had put on hold for a bit, lol.

That’s a wrap for 2026 … I’ll do some recap posts over the next few weeks, so I’ll see you there after a longgggg nap!✌️

Florist pro tip: frolicking in your flowers helps them last longer.

It’s called science baby, look it up!!! 🤭🕺✨

These perfect fluffy limelights are coming with us to an event this weekend and we couldn’t resist a lil studio dance party before we go.

Walk with us down the winding, textural aisle we created for Rebecca + Luke 🧡

Lots of potted plants, grasses, and moss, married with pops of colorful florals - we were in heavennn putting this together.

Working with friends doesn’t feel like work at all.

We laughed, we sweated, we made some stunning floral pieces. It was so fun to see many of our farm’s blooms adding beauty to this amazing wedding. Always love working for @deanstreetdaisies and even better when it’s close to home at the @northshorehouse

New levels of dreamy unlocked ✨

Our team headed back up to the Catskills last weekend for Rebecca + Luke’s big day at @ashokancenter and brought major textural, meadow vibes for this lush, winding aisle.

Obsessed with how this day came together!

A work hard, play hard type of weekend in the Catskills ☀️

Our team road tripped up north to @fullmoonresort. We flowered and mossed and fruit styled and hustled all in the midst of a Fourth of July heatwave, which made jumping in the creek afterward so much sweeter.

Feeling grateful for the work we get to do with our favorite people 🥹

We’ve had our hands full so far this season!

While away from our computers, we can be found: hanging on to a chuppah for dear life in 35 mph winds, chopping install branches in the dark to clean up once the party’s over, or working through multiple rain storms - just a few of our extracurriculars 😅

We truly put our hearts and souls into every event and wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you for all the extra patience when it comes to our inbox!! 🫶

Scroll to see the silly way we moved these pillars ➡️

Let’s talk about repurposing florals! This is a great way to enjoy and get the most out of florals typically from your ceremony that transition into reception pieces. Under the right circumstances this is a great option for a lot of clients.

BUT, yes there is always a but, it does come with its own set of challenges and logistics that need to be considered. These pieces for example required a special flatbed golf cart to move them.

The takeaway: ask your florist about repurposing but be prepared for some potential additional cost and logistics to navigate.
