Flowers, but make them Halloween. A little unexpected, a lot colorful, and exactly my kind of spooky. . ——SUPPLIES—— •Summerween printable by @anncorbierescottdesigns •Purple Haze mix sequins by @haisupply •Wonky Stitched rectangles dies by @ginamariedesignproducts •Mars Black gouache by @liquitexofficial •Zig Clean color real brush markers by @kuretakezig_usa •black cardstock by @papersource •90lb watercolor paper by @cansonusa @cansonpaper •120lb cardstock for base by @accentopaque •Foam tape by @3m •Glue by @artglitter . ——PROCESS—— I started by painting the jack-o’-lantern center and flower petals, then assembled them to create the funky Halloween bloom. I cut out the “Witch, Please” sentiment and layered it over torn paper painted in the same purple and orange to tie everything together. For the background, I hand painted the bold black stripes onto white cardstock, then cut the panel with a wonky stitched rectangle die and matted it with black cardstock before mounting it onto a white card base. I popped the flower up with foam tape, glued the sentiment directly to the panel, and finished with a scattering of sequins for some sparkle, a touch of purple, and a little break in that bold black-and-white pattern. . #TessaReedDesigns #AnnCorbiereScottDesigns #HalloweenCards #HandmadeCards #MixedMediaCards

anncorbierescottdesigns team member Lauren is a cardmaker without parallel! Take special notice of the details that set her cardmaking apart-take the offset lantern on the left, or the addition of the blue painted background, the fussy cutting of the hangng garden! Inspired, to say the least, how about you??? https://www.anncorbierescottdesigns.com/printables/p/year-in-bloom-october #anncorbierescottdesigns #cardmaker #yearinbloomoctober #letsgetartsy #mixedmedia

Honest to Pete!!! Look at what anncorbierescottdesigns team member Lauren cooked up!!! Can’t you just feel the movement of the water she created with @tcwstencils butters? SO much dreamy texture!!! What in the world am I doing?? Luckily this background was a “trust the process” and came out pretty cool 😂 I think it’s the most colors of stencil butter I’ve used in one project before! This card is a reminder that even the smallest gestures can make waves. That’s one of my favorite things about making cards. You never know just how much they’ll mean to the person who receives them. . ——SUPPLIES—— •Somewhere Beyond the Sea printable by @anncorbierescottdesigns •Fella Fodder printable by @anncorbierescottdesigns •Glass Slipper and Lily Pad DecoFoil by @thermoweb •Black pearls by @haisupply •Distress Ink in Uncharted Mariner, Peacock Feathers, and Salvaged Patina by @tim_holtz @ranger_ink •Watercolor Confections by @primamarketinginc @artphilosophyco •Big and Little Chain rectangle dies by @ginamariedesignproducts •Circles nesting dies by Waffle Flower •Double stitched circles dies by @artimpressions •A to Z uppercase letters dies by @etsy •Black cardstock by @papersource •Bristol Smooth paper by @strathmoreart •120lb cardstock for card base by @accentopaque •Glue by @artglitter •Silver Gelly roll by @sakuraofamerica @sakuracolorproducts •Clear Thread from stash . ——PROCESS—— I printed the Somewhere Beyond the Sea background two-up on Bristol Smooth cardstock, ink blended an ombré of blues, splattered water for texture, and foiled it with Glass Slipper foil. The anchor was stamped twice, painted, foiled with Lily Pad Green Deco Foil, detailed with a silver gel pen, then assembled back-to-back on clear thread to create the interactive spinner. @jennifermcguireink has videos on this if you want more in depth directions! I finished the card with a die cut sentiment and black pearls. For the envelope, I used leftover foiled wave scraps on the front and created a faux wax seal with washi tape and a punched circle from another offcut, a heat-friendly alternative since real wax seals don’t survive Arizona summers. . #TessaReedDesigns #AnnCorbiereScottDesigns #InteractiveCards #FoiledCards #ShareHandmadeKindness

Some cards just make me happy. If you’ve been here for a while, you already know I’m a rainbow girly. There wasn’t much of a plan beyond layering color, florals, and a simple hello. Sometimes the brightest backgrounds make the best excuse to send a little happy mail. . ——SUPPLIES—— •Floral Bliss stamp set by @simonsaysstamp •Hi There greetings stamp and die set by @czdesign for @simonsaysstamp •Alabaster White embossing powder by @brutusmonroe •Black cardstock by @papersource •Clear Saucers by @haisupply •Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers by @kuretakezig_usa •Corner Chomper by @wer_makers •VersaMark ink by @tsukineko_official •Bristol Smooth paper by @strathmoreart •120lb white cardstock for card base by @accentopaque •Glue by @artglitter •Foam tape by @altenewllc . ——PROCESS—— This one started the same way as a few of my other rainbow florals. I stamped the floral image twice to create the full bouquet, then used my Kuretake Zig watercolor markers to lightly lay in a rainbow wash before going back over the image to build up more vibrant color and definition. I used those same coordinating colors to add splatters across the background for a little extra interest. Since this is a 5×7 card, there was plenty of room to let the rainbow shine. I stamped the sentiment, heat embossed it in white, and die cut it before rounding the corners of the rainbow panel and adhering it to the card base. Finally, I popped the sentiment up with foam tape to cover the overlap in the floral images and scattered a few clear sequins diagonally to finish everything off. . #TessaReedDesigns #CardmakersOfInstagram #RainbowCards #5x7Cards #ShareHandmadeKindness

Check out this fantastic make from the fantastically talented mind of anncorbierescottdesigns team member Lauren!!! @https://www.anncorbierescottdesigns.com/printables/p/go-with-the-flow-bundle What’s for dinner? Anyone making fish? Lol I was dying to make these fish from the “FIN-tastic” printable by @anncorbierescottdesigns into a dinner plate of fish, with some of the lemon slices from her “Melissa” printable. I painted the messy striped background with one of the new stencil butter colors from @tcwstencils called “Mulberry”, and painted some details on the fish with another new one called “Dusty Blue” . . . SUPPLIES: - “FIN-tastic” and “Melissa” printables from @anncorbierescottdesigns - Stencil butter in the colors “Mulberry”, “Dusty Blue” and “Sunshine” from @tcwstencils - Clear acrylic drops from @haisupply - MFC L2750DW laser printer from @brothercraftsusa - Markers from @Prismacolor . . . #anncorbierescottdesigns #tcwstencils #cardmaking #tarjetería handmadecard

One flower. One sentiment. One reminder. 🖤 Be awesome. . ——SUPPLIES—— •Wildflower stamps and dies by @vickiboutin •Black pearls by @haisupply •Alabaster white embossing powder by @brutusmonroe •X-stitched mini slimline die by @ginamariedesignproducts •Copic markers (as pictured) by @copic_official @copic_official_us •Polychromos colored pencils by @fabercastellglobal @fabercastellusa •White Gelly roll, size 10 by @sakuracolorproducts @sakuraofamerica •Colored cardstock by @papersource •VersaMark ink by @tsukineko_official •Amalgam black ink by @ginakdesigns •Glue by @artglitter •Foam tape by @3m •120lb white cardstock for card base by @accentopaque . ——PROCESS—— I started by stamping the floral image with my @my_sweet_petunia MISTI and coloring it with Copics. Once that was finished, I used a Copic colored pencil to deepen the shadows and added a few white gel pen highlights. For the background, I stamped a repeating leaf pattern onto the dark red cardstock, then die cut it using a mini slimline stitched die. I used that same die to cut the black strip so the stitched details would line up perfectly. After heat embossing the “Be Awesome” sentiment in white, I die cut the flower and popped it up with foam tape for dimension. To finish it off, I added a few black pearls for a simple finishing touch. . #TessaReedDesigns #CardmakersOfInstagram #CopicColoring #MiniSlimline #ShareHandmadeKindness

There’s something so satisfying about the surprise of a gel print image transfer. This floral panel started as a gel printing image transfer, capturing all of that beautifully imperfect texture before I brought it to life with colored pencils and a few white gel pen details. I finished it with a watercolor accent strip, layered sentiment, and a matching envelope so the happy colors continue from the mailbox to the card. . ——SUPPLIES—— •Tessa’s Garden printable by @anncorbierescottdesigns •Versatile Greetings die set by @altenewllc •Stencil Butters in Navy, Cornflower, and Fuchsia by @tcwstencils •Clear Saucers by @haisupply •Colored cardstocks for @yourpaperinsider •Colored pencils by @prismacolor •Pink envelope by @papersource •White Gelly Roll, Size 10 by @sakuracolorproducts @sakuracolorproducts •Acrylic Paint by @liquitexofficial •Glue by @artglitter •120lb cardstock for cardbase by @accentopaque . ——PROCESS—— This card started with a gel print image transfer using acrylic paint to create the floral background. Once the print was dry, I trimmed it to size and used colored pencils to bring the flowers to life, adding depth and extra detail. A few white gel pen highlights made everything pop before I added a stripes of stencil butter on masking tape for a fun pop of texture and color. I die cut and layered the “Love You” sentiment from the Altenew Versatile Greetings die set, then carried the same homemade tape onto the coordinating envelope. To finish it all off, I added a wax seal to the back and a few vintage stamps for the perfect handmade touch. . #altenew #gelprinting #tessareeddesigns #handmadecards #anncorbierescottdesigns

Another one for a friend heading to a wedding. When@I asked if she knew their wedding colors, she sent over the color palette from the wedding website and asked me to write out the message inside so all she had to do was sign her name. I pulled inspiration from their “moody summer florals” wedding color palette and built the card around that. I always love when I can tailor a card to the recipient! . ——SUPPLIES—— •Floral Bliss stamp set by @simonsaysstamp •Sentient Strip dies by @kindredstamps •Clear Saucers by @haisupply •Alabaster white embossing powder by @brutusmonroe •Kraft cardstock by @tonicstudiosusa @tonicstudios •VersaMark ink by @tsukineko_official •Fade-out ink by @inkon3 •Twilight ink by @catherinepooler •Watercolor brush markers by @kuretakezig_usa •Glue by @artglitter •Watercolor paper by @bee_paper •120lb cardstock by @accentopaque •Black cardstock by @papersource •Envelope from stash . ——PROCESS—— I started by stamping the image twice using my @my_sweet_petunia MISTI and heat embossing it in white, then watercolored the image, slowly building up layers to create depth. Once that was dry, I used a gray marker to add some shadows and definition. For the sentiment, I stamped it on the banner, then die cut the banner five times and stacked the layers to give it dimension. I trimmed down the card panel, adhered it to a kraft mat, and then onto the card base, and to finish it off, I added a few clear saucers for a subtle bit of shine. . #tessareeddesigns #cardmakersofinstagram #sharehandmadekindness #cardmaking #weddingcard
