First adventure together for us visiting @brook.valley.glamping.wales for a little bit of a luxury adventure before embarking on our trip up #yrwyddfa following the Pyg track up and Miners back down.

Charlotte @brook.valley.glamping.wales was so accommodating and lovely, offering a truly unique and personalised experience for us. The Beech pod we stayed in was well furnished offering everything we could need for few days rest before we set off! My personal favourite was the hot tub and fire pit!

Setting off at 04:30 to hopefully capture sunrise at the summit, it was dark and wet but an incredible experience none the less! As you can tell by the photos, we had an amazing view at the top with crystal clear blue skies… not

The @fujifilmuk quicksnap disposable camera worked its wonders perfectly and captured some of our unforgettable moments!

My @carhartt hat being a true classic that I take everywhere with me came along for the journey too.

No adventure is complete without some moralabo (haribo) @haribouki_ coming in clutch when they were needed.

🇬🇧 2026 British Firefighter Challenge Series — Complete 🚒🔥

Nine events. Three nations. One incredible season.

My second season competing in the British Firefighter Challenge and what a difference a year makes.

From just trying to get around the courses last year to standing on individual podiums twice this year, achieving two PBs and picking up Most Improved Male Athlete at Northants. It’s been a season of progress that I’m genuinely proud of.

🏁 9/9 events completed
🥉 2 individual podiums
🥉 1 mixed relay podium
⏱️ 2 personal bests
🏆 Most Improved Male Athlete — Northants
🚗 Approximately 4,293 miles travelled

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

Countless hours of training, travelling across the country, early starts, long days, brilliant people and plenty of lessons along the way.

A massive thank you to everyone I’ve competed alongside, trained with, travelled with or received encouragement from throughout the season. A special thank you to my coach, @alex_pumpsandplatescoaching for helping me make the progress I have.

It’s been an absolute privilege to be part of this community and I’m already looking forward to seeing what next season brings.

For now, the British season is complete.

🇺🇸 Next stop: FCL World Championships, Las Vegas. 🌎🔥

Sooo, you may have seen. My challenge has now changed from 110 climbs 110 times to 343 times. One climb for every firefighter that died in 9/11.

I've already completed 111, so just another 223 to go.

When I did my original challenge it completely took over my life. It wasnt sustainable, and I had to sacrifice working out other parts of my body that I need to be a half decent firefighter. (I REALY struggle to get myself in the gym)

I enjoyed most of the climbs (not any of the weird ladder things) and wanted to push myself harder - but knew there was another climb to do the next day.

So this time around I will be doing one climb a week! Ish.

I plan to do my 343rd climb with @united_911climb and @terryfarrellfundga #MSCAtlanta2031.

If my maths is right, thats 255 weeks away. Ish. So I have more than enough weeks to do this 😁.

This will mean I will finish this 2 months before my 40th birthday 🤢🤢 haha

Hopefully ill be able to get some more stadium climbs in, some more that are fun and in different places. For different charities etc.

Anywho, thanks for reading!

P.s if you know of any good stairs in the UK - or even in Europe please let me know 🥰
