The care and dedication from everyone was apparent in the attention to detail from Ship Maintenance, to the Shrine of the Whills, to the vendors of the Marketplace, to the swag passed among attendees of @halcy_con

We debuted our Astro mech barbecue grill this weekend at @halcy_con thankfully the gang at @sabaccforcharity had some frogs to grill up. Unfortunately we couldn’t keep the smoke effect running for long we didn’t need OFD making an appearance. ****no droids were harmed in the making of this.

How does one describe the feeling of helping your dear friends @saculfilm and @captmalificent realize their vision of creating a fully immersive experience celebrating the incomparable Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser? Nothing has ever made my heart as full as this weekend. Getting to be a small part in a celebration of something that I hold very close(as many of you know) was nothing short of amazing.

And then getting to have all of those people sacrifice themselves for the resistance and falling right into my trap was honestly a highlight of my working career. Everyone coming dressed up and being so into the theming and the land and the actual experience is very uncommon now adays, and getting to have it happen while I was there was incredible.

I didn't really know any of you before this experience but I'm so glad I got to connect with so many of y'all as a commander and a lieutenant. The Halcyon really made such a beautiful community and I'm so glad I got to experience it for real this year.

I know this is long winded, but to everyone that isn't tagged, and especially EVERYONE that visited my brothers grandfathers Drabors Droid Depot this weekend, thank you. You all made my weekend one of the best I've ever had. I hope the stars light the way for all of us to meet again.
