Growing up in Flatbush & Crown Heights during the 1980s and 1990s was indelibly imprinted with an amazing cultural revolution but also scarred with the permanent traumatic impact of gun violence in our community. The ongoing crisis and impact is exhaserbated by the loss of America’s children through heinous acts of gun violence in our schools. From our streets to our schools lives are stolen. I am a woman. I am a mother. I stand with my young Sage and all of our #littlelegacies. Gun reform is necessary and demanded NOW! #marchforourlives #enough #respectyourself #loveyourself #creatinglegacies #piaraymondnyc
