Thank you, high school softball…

This past year definitely didn’t go as expected, but it taught me to love this sport in a whole new way. While I would have given anything to be out on the field, this experience showed me that softball is so much more than just playing the game.

Thank you to all of my teammates, coaches, friends, and family who were there for me through it all. Your support, encouragement, and constant reminders to stay positive meant more than I can put into words. On the days when this injury felt overwhelming, you helped me find the bright side and reminded me why I love this sport so much.

Although this season looked different than I imagined, I’m grateful for everything it taught me and for the people who stood by me every step of the way. Thank you for helping me get through one of the toughest seasons of my life. I’ll always be thankful for the memories, lessons, and relationships that high school softball gave me. 🥎💗

Softball has been a major part of my life for so many years. It has given me some of my best friends, the best memories, and, best of all, some amazing life lessons. That’s what makes saying goodbye so hard.

I’m beyond thankful for every teammate, coach, win, loss, and lesson along the way. Thank you to my parents, who sat through countless hot and cold games but never missed a single one and were always my biggest fans.

I truly wouldn’t be the person I am today without this sport and I will always be grateful for everything it has brought to my life. #3signingout
