A studio shoot with @jennhunte_! Love shooting other photographers, and Jenn needed a little refresh of content for her new space and her upcoming holiday sessions. 📍: @the_shotsociety 💇‍♀️: @styled_with_rachaell 💄: @haleysaintmakeup

Literally my MAIN goal…the most important thing to me is that you feel comfortable during your branding session. And there’s so much that goes into that, right? We’ve gotten to know each other a little bit, we have a plan going into the shoot - we’re on the same page - you know what you’re wearing and if we’re using any props, you know how to prepare and what to expect, and then - day of - you’re glammed up, the playlist is getting us hyped, I’m telling you exactly how to pose and we’re off to the races. If you read my reviews and the little love notes I post here - Melissa’s sentiments are not a one-off. That feeling - that confidence and comfortability - that’s something I work really hard to make sure each and every one of my clients feel. If you’ve been putting off a branding session because you are dreading being in front of the camera - GIRL - I got you. I promise. Get in touch today! 💌📱🕊️ … ⬅️ no carrier pigeon emoji weirdly, but you get it. #brandingphotos #brandingphotographer #branding #brandingphotography #brandingsession

I get asked all the time what I recommend doing to prep for a photo shoot, so I figured I’d share exactly what I did leading up to my own branding session! 🤍 Some of these things might seem a little extra, but I truly believe the more you can do ahead of time to feel your absolute best, the more confident and comfortable you’ll be in front of the camera. Whether that’s getting your hair and makeup done, treating yourself to a facial or massage, planning your outfits ahead of time, or just taking a little extra time for YOU. It all makes a difference! And listen, you absolutely do NOT need to do all of these things for every photo shoot. But when you’re investing in professional photos, especially for your business and your brand, I think it’s worth going that extra mile. You’re already investing in the photos. Why not invest a little extra in feeling your absolute best in them, too?! ✨ Because at the end of the day, when you feel good, it shows in your photos. And that confidence is something you just can’t fake! I’m usually the one BEHIND the camera, but this time it was my turn to get in front of it. 📸🤍 And as much as I love being the photographer, I’m also a business owner building a brand of my own. And that means showing up, being visible, and investing in myself the same way I encourage my clients to. Because here’s the thing... people want to connect with the PERSON behind the business. They want to see your face, get to know you, and feel like they know who they’re working with before they ever reach out. So here’s your reminder that branding photos aren’t just pretty pictures. They’re an investment in YOU and the business you’re working so hard to build. You’ve put so much into building your business. Don’t be afraid to put your face on it. @the_shotsociety @britperkins_ @haleysaintmakeup @styled_with_rachaell @spraybyktanning #BostonBrandPhotographer #MassachusettsPhotographer #PersonalBrandingPhotography #WomenInBusiness #BrandingSession
