💜RACE WITH HEART 💚 HAC is a 🚲 racing team based in CHI. Our aim is to make cycling inclusive, safe, and keep it fun for all

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We're offering $15 off registration at Kern Park Kross for first-time women (trans-inclusive) and non-binary folks. The Wisconsin cyclocross scene is a very welcoming place, and we want to make it easy to get started with low pressure racing.

🎟️ DM us (or email gelbbrucke@gmail.com) before you register and we will get you your unique code.

Still not sure? Join us for a special afternoon practice on Sunday, November 1 and see what it's all about. (This practice is open for everyone.)

The $15 discount basically covers the cost of the requisite one-day license. And as a reminder, if you pre-register by midnight on November 4, you can save an additional $10 on overall registration (for a total of $25—that's nearly 50% off)!

First cross race of the season is always shock to the system, even more so when it is probably the toughest course in Illinois. Christy had a rough start but rode into the race and was sitting pretty good half way through. Never really threatened first but was solidly in second place for the finish. Cheers to all the Half Acre riders showing up to suffer.

Nothing like a plan falling apart before the line…… started with a flat in the rear riding up to my call up. Sprinted to my car to get my spare wheel and now starting last row…. Made it even better for myself by sliding out in the first turn…. 😤😭🫣Instead of given up I got up and put on a CLINIC of passing guys. Ended up one lap short of @robbykanyur who was flying out there but happy to have finished 2nd. Always a blast coming down for the day to hang with my Chicago peeps!!
