I spat a bluebird She flew up into the air And got bitten away by the clouds I wore a black ribbon I tore the page real quick As I turned and left the library I could hear a woman shouting I pretended I didn’t hear her I went out the glass-metal doors and turned sharply left and left again. I pretended I couldn’t see I spat a raincoat And quickly put it on It was over by the bus station And people just began to get on So i set a timer And planned to alight quick when it went off Freddie came over the other day he took these photos and I showed him all my paintings. The blank canvas must be destroyed to create the painting

If it’s not magic, it’s not real runs through to the 27th February. Loads of portraits I took with Freddie in the last days of 2025 for an interview with Metal magazine ahead of the show with some of the most majestic of artists. 📷@stax_of_pentax An exhibition of mysterious, joyous and occasionally otherworldly works at our tranquil riverside gallery in Hampshire. Some of these artists are new to TIN MAN ART; others are familiar faces. They all bring something different, from Leonora Carrington’s charmingly macabre lithographs and Tarot illustrations to the vibrant, Tolkienian landscapes of Hecate Asterick, and the gods and allegories that make up the Hieronymus Bosch-inspired visual narratives of Kosuke Ajiro. Artworks are priced between £200 and £3,000 and artists include Kosuke Ajiro, Hecate Asterick, Leonora Carrington, Marie Elisabeth Merlin, Galya Popova, Ralph Steadman, Pen Reid and Hugo Winder-Lind. 'If it's not magic, it's not real' will run for just over five weeks (20th January to 27th February), by appointment only, at Bere Mill, Whitchurch, Hampshire RG28 7NH.

✨very very excited✨ to share that I’ll be fronting with the ice cold pickers at @santaspub TOMORROW 11/23 from 7-9PM.
