Earlier this year, life gave me lemons, so I wrote a poem. A couple of nights ago, I made lemonade through melody and recorded this song with the help of a wonderful producer, based on my original poem. This is my favorite expression of creative free will thus far =‘) PS the second chorus is in honor of how quiet the room is while you share poetry at an open mic IYKYK🫰

y’all i loveeee this video from our gig at Las Fiestas de la Paloma for sooo many reasons!! BUEENOOOO:
(1) the backup vocals from the sweet man who requested this song🤣🩷
(2) i’m just a girl from small town USA truly connecting with a community in the heart of Spain through a shared love of music🥹
(3) me & the boys are playing without a sound system and without a fancy venue🫶
(4) this moment is simply human: authentic and vulnerable, showcasing acoustic music as a mutual language capable of breaking cultural barriers🥰🎶🇪🇸🇺🇸 #slay
