Another Dragon*Con in the books!

I had a great time hanging out with friends new and old and I'm already planning for next year. Let's hope I'm not letting ambition get the best of me.

My highlights:
- Dispatch group cosplay
- Last Night on Alderan having a decent DJ this year
- Taking Con Cult communion
- Eating the Hyatt Burger (so good this year)
- Masquerade watch party
- seeing all my friends
- creating and hosting a MMO bingo game

Things that weren't so great
- 3h badge pickup line in 90+ deg heat - this abso-fucking-lutely needs to improve next year. This was a dangerous situation that Dragoncon handled poorly
- Frank getting separation anxiety and needing to get picked up on Friday.

I'm happy to have met so many great people and tried new things. The year leading up to Dragon*con was a tough one, again, and I wish I could have done more cosplay, or even pick panels I wanted to go to, but I have high hopes for next year!

I truly feel like I lived 2 different lives in 2025. The first 5 months were filled with time on set, traveling: bachelorette, ghost hunting, family weekends at the beach, a beautiful wedding, and fun weekend events in between.

Then in June everything changed in a beautiful way as our prayers were answered and we found out we were expecting our baby girl.

While both halves of this year were wonderful blessings, two things never changed: the love of the Lord and love of our family. No matter what part of our journey we are on, I am so thankful to simply be and feel loved by Jesus and the amazing people He has blessed me with.

This year has definitely had its share of heartache and struggles, but I’m thankful for all The Lord has taught and provided through it all.

2025 was a wonderful year of change, growth, and love! I’m ready for 2026: the year my girl makes me a mama 🩷

🍼A Little Pumpkin Is On The Way🍼

One of the beautiful aspects of this journey has been the wonderfully overwhelming amount of love our growing family has been shown. From the day we found out I was pregnant, we always said “This baby is going to be SO loved by so many”. Even before her arrival, that has proven to be so true!

Thank you to absolutely everyone who has shown any amount of love to our baby girl:

🩷The amazing people who brought my vision for our baby shower to life- from every tiny detail in the decorations, making me feel so beautiful in gifting me a dress and accessories, to making the soup bar and desserts of my DREAMS. It was everything I wanted and more and I cannot thank you fabulous ladies enough!
🩷Friends and family who traveled near and far to be there to celebrate us-hours of driving and plane rides to be at our side! It means so very much to us!
🩷Every gift sent- the ones that were home made with so much love, the ones straight from our registry, or the ones that were specially picked out- each one was given with so much love and received with such appreciation.
🩷All the comments and sweet messages simply wishing all of us well during this journey. Your words and support mean the world to us!

Our hearts are so very full 🩷 (and my belly cause baby girl is getting BIG)

Huge thank you to @kris10cherie for bringing her camera and capturing all of these moments! Forever grateful I have these moments to look back on from such a special day! 📸

I can’t wait for our baby girl to meet all those who have already surrounded her with such love. Thank you Jesus for this beautiful soul blossoming from within 🩷🤰🏼

Happy (belated) birthday mama!! Finally got around to celebrating this amazing woman’s birthday this weekend!! My mama has always been one of my hero’s and someone I could rely on, especially these last 6 months. At any point, she would drive an hour and a half to help me with absolutely anything. Staying weekends with me while Gavyn was gone for work, helping me take care of our zoo when I was just too sick, driving back and forth to the store multiple times a day to get whatever I was craving or thought I could eat, painting the nursery, cleaning the house, listening to me on the phone a million times a day to just vent, ordering me endless instacarts with Gatorade and ginger ale, and honestly so much more. There’s something special about my mom taking care of her little girl, while I grow mine 🩷 thank you for all you do for so many mama! Happy happy (super belated) birthday!!! 🥂
