Last stop on our way home in Hong Kong for @hkpax.official where we presented The Griegol to industry folk from all around the world. Massive week getting the show up, with some unexpected twists (incl. Hannah stepping into Tristan’s role on live foley) but the team rolled with it and pulled it off with aplomb. Got to have some good conversations, eat some delicious food, and see a bunch of shows, including our cousins @tlghtheatre kill it with Night Night to close out the market — such a delight to see what this has turned into, and as always in awe of @halhawker and @ariellegray’s inventiveness and craft. Catch it where you can.

Many thanks to @hkpax.official, @performingartsnetworknz, and @asianewzealandfoundation for supporting us to get here. And to The Griegol cast and crew for nailing it, being such excellent company, and remembering all of their lines. Hope to be back at HKPAX again.

Baby Griegols, assemble.

Hannah on foley. She rocked a cravat.

Yum cha was eaten.

The view from the top.

Cousins!

Not actually their poster.

Bye HK, it’s been so nice.

Doing the thing you love, with friends, for people you adore, is epic. It’s been a wee while since I’ve performed in Australia so it was a special birthday treat to have some familiar faces in the audience for a recent (sold out! hell yeah 👏) season in Naarm 🤩💛 Thank you @tlghtheatre for creating this amazing show that is still going strong 10 years later (legends) & @artscentremelbourne for having us 🙏

It’s that time - the final leg of the tour 🇺🇸 The South brought us a blessed heatwave (maybe some slightly moist heart stroke), a lot of history, searching for hours for the perfect southern meal (sorry Tim) and getting to bring Alvin to the incredible @spoletofestivalusa. If you’re ever in Charleston, have some Kilwins ice-cream and thank me later 😘

You think it won’t really feel like how they say it feels in the movies, but walking around this city… it actually does feel like this is where dreams come to come true... performing on 42nd street was surreal, as was every street corner of this city. The whole world exists here in this micro-world - Little Italy, Chinatown, SoHo, Noho. You KNOW your girl had to search for all the movie set spots ahem LUNCH ON THE MET STEPS (shout out gossip girl 💋), but on every corner there was so much life happening… these pictures kinda don’t begin to cover what 2 weeks there was but they give the vibe. So proud of @tlghtheatre ♥️ ps the PR pics were too cute not to share x

C I N N C I N A T I 🇺🇸 | home to the second leg of the tour, lots of beautiful murals in the streets, where I fell in love with fire escapes and the best chicken wings I’ve ever tasted while a bartender read us his poetry
