One year ago, I moved to WV and took on the role of Throws Coach at Marshall. Looking back, it’s been a year full of PRs, conference scorers, regional qualifiers, and a lot of memories that make it all worth it. I’m grateful every day for the opportunity and beyond blessed to work with the group of athletes I have.

The expectations are high, the work is hard, and this group has shown they’re built for both.

Year 1 was about laying the foundation. Year 2, We’re raising the standard, chasing more, and making sure the best is still ahead.

End of the regular season with conference right around the corner.

I’m proud of every thrower and the growth they’ve shown this year—not just physically, but mentally. The commitment to improving mindset and embracing the process has been huge.

Overall, it’s been a big year. I’m beyond grateful to the entire Marshall track team for welcoming me in, and to all the throwers for truly buying in.

Mental strength means everything in this sport, and this team understands what it takes to succeed. Now it’s time to show it.
