surah al baqarah 144-146 urdu translation (Ayat 144) ​Tarjuma: "(Aey Nabi!) Hum aap ke chehre ko baar-baar aasmaan ki taraf uthte hue dekh rahe hain. Pas hum zaroor aap ko us Qiblah ki taraf pher denge jise aap pasand karte hain. Ab apna mu'h Masjid-e-Haram (Ka'bah) ki taraf pher lijiye, aur jahan kahin bhi tum ho, apne chehre usi ki taraf phira karo. Aur jin logo ko Kitab di gayi hai, woh achhi tarah jaante hain ke yeh (hukm) unke Rab ki taraf se haq hai, aur Allah unke a'amaal se ghaafil nahi (Ayat 145) ​Tarjuma: "Aur agar aap un Ahle-Kitab ke paas tamaam nishaniyaan bhi le aayein, tab bhi woh aap ke Qiblah ki pairokari nahi karenge; aur na aap unke Qiblah ki pairokari karne wale hain, aur na hi woh aapas mein ek doosre ke Qiblah ki pairokari karte hain. Aur agar aap ne is ilm ke baad bhi jo aap ke paas aa chuka hai, unki khwahishaat ki pairokari ki, toh zaroor aap zhalimon mein se ho jayenge." (Ayat 146) ​Tarjuma: "Jin logo ko Hum ne Kitab di hai, woh is (Rasool aur Qiblah ke haq hone) ko usi tarah pehchante hain jaise apne betaon ko pehchante hain. Magar un mein se ek giroh haq ko jaante hue bhi chupata hai."
