Instagram deactivated my @Samu_Westside account, and now I'm facing a 365-day appeal process. 💔

For me, this was more than just an account. It was a space where I shared hip-hop culture, breaking, skateboarding, creativity, and my everyday journey as a young person trying to make a difference.

I've always used my platform to create awareness, tell stories, and celebrate the culture that shaped me. I can't say for certain why my account was deactivated or whether people reporting my content played a role. But this experience has made me reflect on social media, freedom of expression, and the challenges of speaking about a culture you genuinely care about.

In this short audio, I share my feelings, my perspective, and what comes next. My journey doesn't end here. I'm rebuilding, staying true to myself, and continuing the mission through Breaking3Talks.

The page may be gone, but the culture lives on. The voice continues. The mission remains.

Listen, Learn, Live Hip-Hop. 🎤🛹

Faces of Africa

For over 5 decades,Hip Hop has been a survival guide for the urban experience….as city developers were planning and drawing gridlines, breakers, rappers,MCS,DJs and graffiti artists were living in the margins of those lines, providing what architect Michael Ford coined a ‘50 year post-occupancy report’ on our built environment. And now Hip is redefining urban landscapes and promoting social transformation, influencing public policy and reshaping diplomacy. As Biggie once said “we never thought Hip Hop could take it this far…”
