We recently visited The Capri Theatre on Goodwood rd. The gig was The Adelaide Police Band, presenting music from stage and screen accross the ages, think Jaws, Casablanka, James Bond themes, Diamonds are forever ( my fav).
The Theatre is a beautiful artdeco building it’s run by volunteers, who do an amazing job.
Our youngest grandchild came with us. She loved the music.

Trains , planes and lots of leg work.
We dont have a favourite, because everywhere we went was wonderful 🚞✈️🚌Always happy to come home .

My parents have been married for 35 years today. (I know!!) Not all marriages are meant to be long (and not all marriages need to be long to still have meaning), but theirs however, has been long, plentiful and full of meaning. They are my blueprint and I am so lucky to be their daughter. Mum and Dad have really paved the way for what I want my marriage to look like aka lots of laughter, lots of colour, lots of gin, lots of family time and lots of running races. I’m still finding my way on the running side of things, but as for the rest of it, thank you for setting the gold standard and bravo on 35 joyful years. 💖💒🪩

We enjoyed the AO, this was 2 years ago.
Personally I am not a party hard spectator.
I just enjoy watching the tennis.
This year I have sat in front of my TV and enjoyed every match🎾

At 65 I have finally made my first ever SPONGE CAKE. This was for my grandaughters first birthday.
Now you baking PROs are probably aghast, at the vision of my sponge cake, I on the other hand am loving myself sick😎
This cake was delicious, no oil painting but yummy.
The last photo shows my first attempt, where the cake literally just flopped in the oven.
The other cake in the photo was my back up cake, apricot choc chip cake soaked in apricot nectar.
Both cake plates came home empty, the birthday girl was very happy🩷
