✨ Our Little Star Is On the Way ✨

💫 All links in bio! 💫

✨As we prepare to welcome our lil star into the world, we’re holding so much gratitude for the constellation of love surrounding us. This journey into parenthood especially as a Black, trans, sapphic couple has reminded us that care is collective and chosen family is everything.

✨We’ve created a baby registry with items that are practical, multi use, and meant to grow with our baby. We’re very open to secondhand and open box gifts please feel free to reach out if that’s what’s accessible to you. If you’re purchasing or picking something up outside of Amazon or Target, just message us and we’ll happily share our address.

✨If you have suggestions for baby essentials rooted in care, sustainability, or lived wisdom, we’re always open and deeply appreciative. Just message us!

✨instead of cards just send books! With lil notes we’ll love those for the lil star! As a trans queer household we’re open to all items that are gendered/Non gendered we’re not caring about any boy specific items or girl specific we’re open to all!!

✨As a thank you, those who gift $150 or more will receive a birth announcement, along with newborn and maternity shoot prints a small piece of our joy shared with you. We won’t be sharing sensitive information or many photos of our lil star online, and we trust this moment will be held close and with care.

✨It truly takes a village, and in these times, we are reminded that we are all we have and that is powerful. Thank you for showing up for us, for our baby, and for our lil constellation we’re building.

With love and endless gratitude,
Rumi & Char 🌙⭐☀️

“When you leave all you take is your memories, and I’m gonna take mine of you with me.” 🙏❤️‍🔥
Photo dump of some of my favorite memories with some of my favorite people in 2025. Some new some old, some close some far, some in my heart and some in my mind. But all of you have filled my life up with so much joy and that I’m taking with me even when it’s all over. 🫶💋

@redlanterndistrictbk and its all-AAPI founding cast—@kekoais, @feliciaohnyc, and @kanikapeach—just celebrated two years of The Red Lantern and AAPI Heritage Month at @redpavilionbk.

Joined by @berthavnyc and in collaboration with Drag Story Hour, they served a night of learning, laughter, and powerful tributes to trailblazing Asian femme figures.

Don’t miss their next Pride show on June 27! 🏳️‍🌈🏮
