Extremely blessed to have been given the opportunity to head back to Lakeview a third time as a counselor. Camp Brown is a such a special family, and I just want to take a moment and put my gratitude in words:

To my DG kiddos, I’m so incredibly proud of y’all for opening up and bringing so much life into every discussion. From the very first DG time, y’all immediately brought so much energy, and I’m so excited to watch and cheer y’all on during this next chapter of your lives.

Nick & Hayv, thank you for everything. Thank you for giving me so many opportunities to lead and pour into others. Thank you for creating such an amazing family that this camp is, and thank you so much for trusting me to help y’all enact this vision. I cannot be more grateful to have y’all as my chairs.

Sofia, we did it. You’ve been the most amazing and supportive partner that I could’ve asked for. You bring so much excitement and enthusiasm into everything you do, and I couldn’t have done it with anyone else. I’m endlessly proud of you.

Every counselor in Camp Brown, I’m so thankful for the family we’ve become and created these last few months. You’ve each left an impact on me and so many others, and I can’t wait to see the memories we continue to make together.

Mrs. Brown, you’ve been more than a perfect namesake. You’ve gone above and beyond what it means to support each and every one of us. I’ve never seen a namesake so involved that cares so deeply for every person in this camp. It was an honor to get to represent your name.

While it’s bittersweet that my counselor journey has come to an end, I couldn’t have asked for a better camp to end it off with. This organization has quite literally changed my life, and Camp Brown will forever hold a special place in my heart 💚

Going through another year with this amazing organization has yet again been another life changing experience. Getting to not only impact another class of freshmen but also be an example and invest so deeply into every other counselor has been so rewarding and I’m forever thankful I was given this opportunity yet again. I just want to take a moment and express my gratitude.

My “66 Crashing Snowmen Eating Nuggs of Wisdom”, I am beyond proud of y’all. Seeing each and every one of you open up and embrace everything in the span of 3 days has been incredible. I cannot wait to see y’all take on this next chapter of your life and I’ll always be there for y’all each step of the way.

Ava, you have been my backbone through everything. You’ve encouraged me when I needed it, helped me more than you can imagine, always are willing to step up when needed, and are unapologetically yourself. You’ve grown so much in the last few months and it was absolutely wonderful seeing you lead and leave such an impact on everyone you come across. You have such a big heart for people, and it really shines bright. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect partner.

My fellow counselors, we did it. It’s been the blessing of a lifetime being able to not only get to know y’all but pour into so many freshmen with each other. I wouldn’t want to have taken this journey on with anyone else and I’m thankful to be able to call each one of y’all a friend.

Tanner and Becca, none of this would’ve been possible without y’all. Y’all’s leadership has cultivated and created EVERYTHING that has taken place the last few months and the 3 days at Lakeview. I couldn’t thank y’all enough for giving me the opportunities to pour into every single counselor and freshmen. You’ve both given me more than you could imagine and helped me grow in so many ways. I’m so thankful to be one of your counselors. Thank y’all from the bottom of my heart.

Justin, you’ve been such an incredible namesake. You’ve been so intentional, and it’s been an honor getting to represent you and your name.
