‘Slow Season’ is a dual exhibition of the work of Heather den Uijl and Hillaree Hamblin exploring themes of introspection, adaptation, and stillness through the lens of abstraction. The exhibition highlights moments, both large and small, that occur in the quiet spaces we carve out for ourselves and the transformative power of self-reflection that is brought about within them. Hinging on the belief that we can find ourselves and our purpose in slow and soft moments, ‘Slow Season’ asks us to tune in to the gentle steady hum of the world around us to find strength, solace and resilience.

As the wind begins to shift towards something quieter and the first evidence of fall approaches, I am so thrilled to finally announce "Slow Season", an upcoming show with my dear friend and collaborator @hamblinhillaree opening October 30th, from 6-9pm @box13artspace
...
This show has been a long time in the making and so near and dear to our hearts. We have pulled things out of ourselves over the past year that would not have been possible without each other.

Swipe on to read more about the show
...
Special thanks to @box13artspace for hosting us, to @hamblinhillaree for being an incredible human being, to my lovely and beautiful husband @umerino for creating the amazing graphics, and to everyone who has supported us and our work along the way.
