The way a thundercloud is happy
By super bazaar

This harp focused nu-jazz album has a beautiful mix of ethereal harp playing over a more human grounded element that is a masterfully executed dichotomy. If you’re a fan of hiatus coyote kaiyote you will enjoy this album.

Oh yeah, i make art too. Mostly collage art, mix of my own photos, zines, and books. Here's some pieces i finished over the last few months, including the album art for my band @elktoothmusic and stickers for our shows.
Also thanks for the music @hamburger.helpless , this is music to make art too.

eric approched me one day in maybe 2017 and said i want you to engineer my record. i said yes not knowing exactly what i was signing up to. years later, i became more and more intertwined with the project - arranging/composing/performing parts for bass, guitar, mandolin, flute, percussion, keys, vocals, etc, co-producing and mixing the record. it became a soundtrack to my life alongside the new @peaer_ record which is bound to see the light this year as well.

there was extreme doubt as to whether ‘the way a thundercloud is happy’ would ever reach the surface to be released after so many life hurdles. well here it is for consumption in all its decadence. eric doce is a talented musician, composer, artist, wordsmith, critic and curator of our times. he has eclectic taste and ideas that always push the envelope. i find i disagree with him as much as i agree with him, and i love that. only stronger and happier this thundercloud is. embrace your indulgent desires - enter the SUPER BAZAAR and get your fill of @hamburger.helpless , thomato basil, and friends. you like krabby patties don’t you squidward? may you find your limitations change at any given moment. stream the album anywhere - find it on all the major DSPs
