Sepehr Honjani was only 17 when he was arrested. Now, at just 18, he faces the threat of execution for taking part in a movement demanding freedom.

While ordinary Iranians struggle to afford food and some reportedly resort to selling their blood or organs to survive, the Islamic Republic continues to punish the very people who dare to demand a better future.

Let that sink in. People are struggling to survive, and those who stand up for their freedom are fighting to stay alive.

Sepehr has barely begun his life. He should be dreaming about his future, not facing death behind prison walls. Reports of torture and forced confessions make his situation even more alarming.

For years, the Iranian people have been paying the price of radical Islamism with their blood, their freedom, and their lives.

For decades, we have watched the Islamic Republic destroy our country, silence our voices, imprison our people, and kill those who dare to demand freedom.

And now, watching what is happening in France, I have one question: Why did the world ignore our warnings for so long?

Why were the voices of Iranians who fought against this ideology ignored while our people were being killed?

No country should have to experience what Iran has endured. No people should have to lose their freedom before the world finally listens.

If France is now facing the consequences of extremism, let this be a wake-up call—not a reason to celebrate anyone’s suffering, but a reason to act before it is too late.

How many more lives must be lost? How many more warnings must be ignored?

We, the people of Iran, know the cost of silence.

Enough is enough. Stand with the Iranian people. Stand for freedom. Stand against extremism.

My mourning for Iran began long before January 2026 , with Mahsa in 2022, and with Bloody November of 2019. The grief has never left me.

I will remove my mourning band only when Iran is free, and we, Iranians, are liberated wherever in the world we may be.

Majid Nikandish was executed in Mashhad on September 30, 2026, after being arrested in connection with the January 8–9 protests. HIH Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi’s Communications @pahlavicomms @officialrezapahlavi said he refused to fire on protesters. Human rights reporting says he endured months in solitary confinement and severe torture, and that his conviction relied on torture-tainted confessions and an unfair trial.

In his final letter, Majid asked his family to stay united. His last question was: “Why?” We remember his life, stand with his loved ones, and demand accountability for those who ordered and carried out his execution.

Ali Sina Mostafavi was executed today. Reza Zanganeh could be next.

Ali Sina was only 38 years old. Today, his life was taken by the Islamic Republic. Now, 27-year-old Reza is facing the same terrifying fate, held in solitary confinement with the threat of execution hanging over him.

Arrested at his workplace and sentenced to death on charges of “Collaboration with Mossad” and “Waging War Against God,” Reza’s life could be taken at any moment.

How many more young lives must be taken before the world stops looking away? How many more names must we mourn while people are still waiting for help?

We cannot bring back those who have already been executed. But we must not remain silent while Reza’s life is still at stake.

Raise your voice. Demand action. Refuse to let another execution pass in silence.

Masoud Toushmalani, Hadi Abbasian, Sirwan Shabani, Borzou Rezaei, Khosrow Mohammadnia and Mohsen Babaeian are among the prisoners facing the threat of execution after the January 2026 protests. Human rights reports say Hadi’s death sentence was formally delivered on October 5, 2026, and report death sentences against Masoud, Sirwan and Khosrow as well.

Their names must be heard, and their cases must receive fair legal review. Call for the executions to be halted, independent access to counsel, and protection for all those detained in connection with the protests.
