Some of the sake and wine I’ve opened at home or shared with friends recently:

🍶 Uonuma Nōjun Junmai-shu 魚沼濃醇純米酒白瀧酒造
🍷 Purlieu Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
🍷 Hamel Grenache, Moon Mountain District 2024

If you have any winery recommendations in Napa, Sonoma, or Santa Barbara, let me know in the comments. Thanks!

Sometimes changing your perspective starts with changing what you’re looking at.

We spend so much time in our own heads trying to figure things out. We replay the same situation. We run through the same possibilities. Looking for an answer from inside the SAME thoughts, the SAME routine, the SAME surroundings.

But what we OBSERVE matters.

Sometimes we need to give our brain something completely DIFFERENT to take in.

A mountain instead of a screen.
A horizon instead of four walls.
Something EXPANSIVE instead of the thing we’ve been mentally zoomed in on.

There’s something about a beautiful view that can RESET the way we’re seeing everything else.

Maybe the problem suddenly feels a little smaller. Maybe the answer becomes a little clearer. Or maybe nothing is solved at all. But we’ve created enough SPACE between ourselves and the thought to come back to it DIFFERENTLY.

Sometimes perspective isn’t something we have to THINK our way into.

Sometimes we just need to CHANGE THE VIEW.
