The Breedling is the solo project of Norfolk-based Chris Spalton, drawing on the folklore, history and strange landscapes of East Anglia to create a dark, cinematic collision of industrial noise, crushing electronics, doom and unsettling ambience.

Described as “Fendustrial Folklore”, The Breedling combines distorted rhythms, drones, field recordings and historical fragments to explore the darker corners of the region's past.

Released through Wrong Speed Records in August 2026, debut album A Straunge & Terrible Wunder takes inspiration from the infamous Black Shuck sightings of 1577, earning coverage in The Wire, The Quietus and Louder Than War.

Following recent live appearances in Norway, The Breedling brings its immersive, unsettling sound to London in support of Pye Corner Audio.

----

Pye Corner Audio is a British electronic music project by Martin Jenkins. He deals in an eerie, fragile strain of electronic music mixing the Radiophonic/Library music sound, sometimes with a post-punk influence that aligns him firmly with such seasoned hauntologists as Mordant Music, Belbury Poly, and The Advisory Circle.

Jenkins refers to himself as the mysterious and nameless Head Technician in most of his online profiles, and extra detail is taken to make the audio and visual elements of his performances look and sound worn and vintage.

PCA first came to attention with four volumes of Black Mill Tapes on his own label, Pye Corner Audio Transcription Services. Like his contemporaries Demdike Stare and Ghost Box, Martin seemed to be tapping into some hidden energy current, channeling spirits via electrical means. The pioneering transmissions of the BBC Radiophonic Workshop could be detected lurking within the music’s staticky swirl; so could the ominous throb of John Carpenter’s film soundtracks.

While the musical landscape has shifted over the years, Pye Corner Audio’s retro-futurist transmissions remain timelessly compelling, resembling a rickety tape transfer of a collective nostalgia, waiting to be rediscovered.

Scotland pals!

We're bringing our wonderful friends in Urisk all the way from Germany to the following dates this weekend:

Friday 23rd October - Aberdeen, Krakatoa Bar
Saturday 24th October - Dundee, Hidden
Sunday 25th October - Glasgow, Lucky Strike

You can get tickets for the Saturday and Sunday shows via Tickets Scotland!

Urisk are by far one of our favourite black metal bands, with Scotland being their spiritual home owing to much of their themes and concepts being based around Scottish culture and mythology, including a lot of well educated Scots Gaelic in their lyrics. We are very much excited to bring them here!

This is likely to be our last Scottish shows for quite some time, so we would be eternally grateful to any and all who make it out to these shows this weekend!
