✨ Creative Networking Lunch in Putney, London ✨

Next Friday, 10th October, I’m hosting a Truffles and Ruffles networking lunch on my houseboat in Putney, West London 🚤💫 Just a short hop from Chelsea Harbour and easy to reach from Putney Bridge or East Putney tube stations, with plenty of local buses too.

These networking lunches are designed for creative professionals across the design and interiors world — interior designers, stylists, makers, architects, garden designers, and anyone who loves creativity, connection, and collaboration. It’s the perfect opportunity to step away from your desk, sit at a beautifully styled table, and share ideas, inspiration, and conversation that can turn into lasting friendships and collaborations.

I’m Anna, an interior designer in London and founder of Truffles and Ruffles. I created these lunches to bring the creative community together in real life — no screens, no passwords, just authentic creative networking and meaningful connections. Every lunch is thoughtfully styled to make the experience inspiring and memorable. ✨

The houseboat lunches in Putney have been some of my favourites this year — full of laughter, conversation, and connections. Scroll through the carousel to enjoy some of the past lunches on the boat, and a huge thank you to Lou for capturing each lunch so beautifully.

This may be one of the last opportunities to join me on the boat before we move back into our house, with November’s lunch happening in West Sussex and December’s in the Cotswolds.

💌 There are still a few seats left for this intimate networking lunch in London, and I’d love for you to join us. If it sounds like your kind of afternoon, DM me to book. And if you know someone who would enjoy a creative networking event like this, please share this post with them.

With much love,
Anna xxx

Morning all 🌸

There’s nothing I love more than to pick, snip, style and arrange – flowers are always part of the magic when it comes to setting a beautiful table. They bring colour, texture and a sense of occasion that makes any gathering feel special. A house with flowers becomes a home, full of warmth, beauty, and welcome.

We’ve loved looking back at our event hosted at Elizabeth’s @littentreeantiques most beautiful home last summer – such a gorgeous day filled with creativity, connection, and, of course, flowers.

We’re already putting the finishing touches on our autumn events (not long now!) – so if you’d like to be the first to know when dates are released, do sign up to our newsletter via the link in bio, or simply write ‘newsletter’ below and we’ll send you the info.

And a little unexpected treat - one last spot has just opened up for our final summer lunch this Thursday 12th on Anna’s houseboat. If you’re interested, do let us know ASAP - we’d so love to have you with us to close out the season in style.

If you know someone who might love being part of the Truffles & Ruffles community, please feel free to share this post. It's a growing network of creative professionals in the interiors, food, events, and design worlds, coming together around beautifully set tables to connect, collaborate, and be inspired.

With love from us both, Anna & Annie x

🌿 After a wonderful family weekend, we’re excited to share beautiful photos from our recent Truffles and Ruffles lunch, hosted at the lovely studio of Julia @collinsandgreenart. This event was made even more special through our collaboration with the amazing Elvira @clovellycloth, whose stunning table linens truly brought our vision to life.

It was such a pleasure working with Elvira, and we absolutely adored the tablescape we created together. We paired her ‘Wide Stripe’ in Bay as the tablecloth with the delicate ‘Little Leaf’ in Mist napkins—it was the perfect combination! Julia’s gorgeous studio provided the ideal backdrop, setting the stage for a memorable lunch.

💫 A big thank you to all our wonderful guests. Your presence made the day truly special, and the conversations sparked such a vibrant exchange of ideas—it felt like a gathering of brilliant minds.

🌸 Special thanks to Julia for welcoming us into her beautiful home and studio, and to Elvira for trusting in our creative vision. Shout out to Julie @lolapaloozalondon for her stunning hurricane lanterns, which added a magical touch to the table, and to Sophie @edible_food_design for treating us to an incredible lunch. Also, a big thanks to @malekbenhamida for capturing the day so beautifully and @minnowandwolf for the stunning flowers.

⚡️ Last few seats left for our events on the 4th, 9th, and 11th – don’t miss out! Head to the link in bio and grab your spot now!

✨ And don’t forget, we’re going live with Elvira at 12:30pm on Tuesday, 1st October 2024! Mark your calendars—we’d love for you to join us!

With much love, Anna and Annie xx

How could I do this?

I was so busy enjoying myself that I didn’t capture enough of the whole GORGEOUSNOUS of my wonderful afternoon.

On Wednesday I had the most lovely lunch with the really wonderful Annie and Anna of @trufflesandruffles.london. It was hosted at the beautiful home of Julia of @collinsandgreenart so I got to have a good old nosey at some the wonderful affordable art that she sells. Of course those that know me won’t be surprised that I spotted at least three pieces that I could easily provide a new home for pretty quickly😉

The conversation flowed with ease and in fact it began before I even stepped through the door when I met the lovely @angelaridge as I walked up the road.

There was such a wonderful mix of incredible talented and inspiring women, not too many so it wasn’t too scary or intimidating. It was just right!

The food was de-licious - it looked beautiful too, all made by the talented @edible_food_design this was my first time of trying the moving camera effect with the dishes as they arrived … it needs more practice I fear!

The tablescape was stunning as ever with gorgeous table cloth and napkins from @clovellycloth - all about sustainability too👌🏻

It was great to meet the lovely photographer @malekbenhamida too.

I went to my first @trufflesandruffles.london lunch almost a year ago and I must say that I enjoyed this one EVEN more than the first! If you are a creative business owner, interior designer, maker, artist, architect then I highly recommend going along to one these special intimate, carefully curated networking lunches with Annie and Anna.

5 stars🌟 from me🧡

I am super excited to have connected with the wonderful women I met at the lunch😊 and I know I be seeing some of them again before the year is out.

Big big THANK YOU to Annie and Anna for having me again😘

Here are some of the amazing business owners I met - so do have a look at what they do🤩

🌿 Reflecting on a Perfect End to Our Summer Season! 🌿

Before we dive into our exciting autumn series, we want to take a moment to reminisce about our final summer lunch, hosted at the beautiful home of Elizabeth @littentreeantiques. Not only did Elizabeth open her stunning space to us, but she also gave us a tour of her enchanting converted chapel, home to her thriving antique business. The sun graced us with its presence from start to finish, making it a day to remember.

Huge thanks to: ✨ Elizabeth for her warm hospitality 🍽️ Sophie @edible_food_design for the mouthwatering 3-course feast 📸 Lou @lsouza_photography for capturing every beautiful moment.

And, of course, a massive THANK YOU to all our wonderful guests who made the day so special!

Ready for an unforgettable autumn? We have a fantastic lineup of networking lunches, workshops, and more. Comment “ME” below if you'd like to learn more or DM us directly.
