Hampton University Homecoming 26’ 💙⚓️🏫

This year instead of the regular tailgate turn up I actually walked my old stomping grounds and took in all the new updates and beauty that Hampton has to offer. That walk brought so much nostalgia and wonderful memories to the forefront of my mind. I walked the halls of the building I spent all my days in Armstrong Hall which has now been dedicated to the legendary Ruth E. Carter. This theater housed a lot firsts for me, where I grew my love for theater, and it’s where I truly became a thespian. I love my HIU forever and always. 💙🤍 #huplayers #hamptonuniversity #hamptonuniversityalumni #hamptonhomecoming #huhomecoming

On the Eve of Hampton Homecoming coming to a close… (Even though I didn’t make it this year!)
I had to represent my HBCU
The home to the oldest Black American Museum in the World. The place where I studied art, My fathers artwork exist in permanent collection also where his mentor John Biggers and his wife Hazel Biggers met, and my Home by the sea
And of course she wants to go!

A school that rolled the red carpet out for me because they honor legacy… The choice that gave me a greater understanding of our light and instilled in me “The Standard of Excellence”
