WOWIE WOW YALL LIGHTBOX WAS AMAZING !!!!!!!! It’s so cool to put faces to the names of everyone I’ve followed and admired for so long and to reconnect with people I love and haven’t seen in so long 💚💚💚 and to hear anyone come up to our table and say they had been following ME was UNREAL !!!!!! like bruh what do you mean you remember me from last year……..what do you mean you were LOOKING for our table to find me THATS CRAZY !!!!! Everyone is so sweet and so nice and it was such a treat to meet everyone and get to hang with my bestie @hamtarto all freakin weekend dude. The animation and illustration community are perhaps the coolest people in the world. Feeling very honored and humbled and so so inspired to keep making cool art !!!! Thank you so much @lightboxexpo and @jimdemonakos for having us back again and creating such a welcoming and fun environment. LIGHTBOX RULEZ

I had a great time at Lightbox Expo this year. I met so many cool artists and people who work in the animation industry. It was really cool to meet people like Jorge R. Gutierrez (@mexopolis ) , Tony Bancroft (@pumbaaguy ), and Sam C. King (@samcking ) . I really enjoyed this event, it was great to see all these creative people showcasing their work. Also thank you to all the amazing artists that signed my sketchbook. #lightboxexpo

Year 7 done! @lightboxexpo was absolutely incredible - the level of positivity about art and creation was at all time high. It really feels as though everyone left the show with a huge amount of excitement and energy!

There’s a ton of people that help make LBX something special, and top of that list is @digitalbobert whose effort to make this show the best it can be is always heartening and inspiring, thank you for being an incredible partner in this endeavor!

Thanks to all our exhibitors, sponsors, presenters, guests and more, and the dozen staffers and hundreds of Fireflies who make this show happen! As always, I didn’t take enough photos, but here’s a selection! Now to go to pass out…

Lightbox 2025!!! This was my first time attending Lightbox and I had so much fun! I met new people, talked to recruiters, went to some amazing panels, and bought way too much at artist alley (so much insane talent). If we met at Lightbox please keep in touch (check my bio for LinkedIn too)! You guys were all so cool and I can’t wait to see your future projects! I’m looking forward to next year!

P.S. I’m gonna try to tag as many artists I can from my haul so you can go check out their beautiful work! It might take a while to sort through all the business cards and match them up though lol

Here again to showcase some of the INCREDIBLE art created by Chappell Roan fans. I love to all the ways people add their own style of creativity to honor the art @chappellroan has put out herself. 😍✨

Last weekend I had a great time at LightBox Expo in Pasadena. I got to meet a lot of cool artists/animators and talked to a lot of artists who worked in the animation industry. The expo reminds me a lot of CTNX in Burbank, but a little bigger. Still, I had a great time going to LightBox, seeing all these cool people at the event, and getting my sketchbook signed.

People in the photos:
David "Doodley 3D" Oneacre
Chris Sanders (@chrissandersart) Director of 'Lilo & Stitch', 'The Wild Robot'
Studio Flimpo: Milo Ferguson (@keetz.me), Reid Sandlund (@reidspng)

Artists who signed my sketchbook, but I couldn't tag some in the photos (Sorry in advance):
@glennmdoodles
@kc.cadoodle
@kenet.bear
@michelleinteal
@michellekuku
@bam_animation
@asia_simone405
@tomatatoro
@onihat

Once again, I had a great time visiting LightBox Expo and will try to go again next year.

Took me a while because of school and other personal stuff, but managed to watch this morning all of the first 6 episodes of #theghostandmollymcgee on Disney Plus!!! Been a fan of the show since Day 1 for its songs, writing, characters, art direction, visuals, and amazing crew efforts. Since season 1 was a fun yet intense blast, cannot wait to see where season 2 is headed?!!! 👻👻👻💚🎹🎸🎤🎶
