This was my view on the Sunday morning that EP 05 of “Let It Breathe” dropped, a GORGEOUS Los Angeles summer rain took over the weekend but before the rain hit, @adrianejamison @amilasser threw one of a “House” party called OUTSIDE @sohohouse Holloway in Los Angeles - thank you @han.gert for the hospitality your staff is loveeeeeely!! I did a set filled with 00’s favorites from Indie Dance like @theophiluslondon cover of “Only You” with @tameimpala to R&B classics like @omarion “Touch” & Lloyd’s “Get It Shawty” @curlyheadedblackboy to brand new drops by @liimnotliim (“1980” bumped!),…scrubbed the ground with favorites by @trickdaddydollars & @trinarockstarr “Naan” & dancehall favorites like “Oh No” @bia into OG @redratmusic “Dwayne”! Edges were sweat out indeed and I closed out the set as I always do with some sexy slow joints like @bastianbell_ amazing flip of @d3chalieboy “On My Mama” over “Rain” @officialswv ooooo that flip is the perfect end of night frequency for this typa party the last 20 mins is always my favorite part of a night like this where I can slow it down give a lay up to anyone who’s feelin someone in the room 😜 and sex up that end of night feel so I hit em with new favorites by @malayatinab “Knees”, @bexgrimes “Blessed”, @mlt.msc “Taxi” and last song was,… “…you got stacks like the international house of pancakes” IYKYK - it was a beautiful night of music lovers - Thank you Drizzy for once again asking me to be the steward musically O can’t wait for the next one! This was a specific night of music, that’s what I love about my DJ career these days no more nightly big room club sets, these days it’s events, parties, one offs and each one is different which allows me to GET IN MY BAG!!! There’s not much I don’t have or play except for country and when I have the freedom to go wherever the spirit calls in my sets - THAT is what it’s all about! I can’t wait to travel and do sets around that world, that is next on the docket!! Creating soundtracks for nights like these is what it’s all about - Music is medicine, DJs are healers, & I got that TUSSIN’ for ya! 🤌🏽✌🏽✨💋🎧

Pride is remembrance, resistance, joy, and the freedom to be seen fully. Last week’s Blurred Lines at Holloway House was created in that spirit... honoring love, chosen family, and the power of gathering without shrinking or explaining who we are. May we keep choosing love-loudly and together.

producing the Hollogay event series has become a real labor of love for me over the last year, and the best part of all of it is getting to enjoy it alongside my own community, and always give it back to them. Thank you Hollogays, and happy birthday Hollogay Hour. 🌵 📷 @xx.pose.d

Closing out Lunar New Year with “Top Chef” Icon, Mei Lin at The Luckman Club. Meal highlights included Mei’s Pork & Shrimp Egg Rolls, Sticky Rice–Stuffed Chicken Wings, Rice Roll Noodles with XO Sauce (think rice gnocchi), her Ginger Scallion Sea Bream and these addictive Black Sesame Balls along with a delicate bowl of Citrus, Almond Jelly & Marzipan yumminess. Every bite was a masterclass in flavor and finesse. Absolute perfection. Pic’s by @nate.sturley Curated by @ombrello.agency
