And a last time dry brushing with this kind of colour...
Today just the final touches of dry brushing....
Use the brightest tone (of that ocher) and just brush/go over the surface of the diorama roughly.
You don't have to cover everything in that step... final touches only mean to make something good to something perfect😊

Hope you enjoy the steps I do on my way to a cool diorama😇😊

And again... dry brushing...

And again with a little brighter colour tone like the step before.

I always try to be a bit brighter than before and get a more realistic look with darker and brighter spots, like you can find it in the nature.

This really means handmade to me😊 and the diorama has a kind of depths😍

Happy tuesday guys😊

After the first layer of paint and the drowning part, I do the first dry brush with a lighter colour tone of the basic colour😊

If you have any questions just let me know😊

When the first paint layer is dry, I "drown" the diorama in the water where I cleaned the brush with. I do this almost all the time...
So I can be sure that everything is painted... if there is only one little thing without paint... after that "drowning" step it'll be painted 😆 .

Wish you all a great sunday😉😊

After carving comes painting😄 and I almost forgot to film how I did the basic coat on the diorama😅
Well I think you know how to paint a piece foam... maybe nothing special but for me it is a bit like meditation.
Just me and the foam which needs some paint to look like Namek or something else...
and this is only the first paint layer... next time it will be the same colour, only a little lighter than this...

After all the carving work we have a little more carving to install the attachment points which I've got from @figuartsdioramas who printed them with a 3D Printer🫰🙌
Check him out😊

I always press the attachments points in the foam and then I cut the little holes. In the end I use hot glue to attach the attachment points to the foam🤣

After carving comes the realistic look of the rocks and stones. For this look I use an aluminium ball and for the gaps a smaller piece aluminium.

You can use everything that makes a good look for the diorama😊 for me the aluminium ball and for the small gaps between the rocks (the tiny aluminium thing) works perfect😊

What do you use for making a realistic look for your stones/rocks and terrain?😊

Today I'll show you another day of cutting but this is the final cut work.
After that we have finished the cutting work😊
I usually do final details like little cracks or smaller gabs between two rocks... in the end of the video you can see the final results of that part in normal speed.

I have to do the videos in the fast way because only this video is 10 minutes long... so I have to put everything in shorter videos which means to speed the videos up🫣
If you watch the whole video you'll see everything what is interesting in the end in normal speed😊

Do you have any questions? Just let me know😊🙌

Another part of carving. This time a thicker piece of the xps foam. This is the first step to carve rocks out of the foam. The detail cutting comes later (I always make a rough start and then the detail cut work later)😊

Thanks for watching the last reel and all the support.
This diorama (in this reel) were made in July/August and I'm working on a new and bigger project now.
You will see the progress here when I upload the reels here too😊... it takes some time until I will do the uploads, but I film the whole process and I will upload them as soon as possible for you😊
But for now you can see the process and progress of the namek diorama😊

If you have any questions, just let me know in the comment or write a pm😊 then I'll try to help you🙌🫶
