We Found Africa in Bangkok!

One of the things we love most about living in Thailand is discovering experiences we never expected to find.

Last weekend we attended AfroTel at The Fig Lobby Hotel and honestly, it felt like a little piece of Africa right in the heart of Bangkok.

🎨 Amazing artwork
🛍 African-owned businesses
👗 Fashion & accessories
🎶 Live music & DJs
🍛 Great food
🌆 Stunning rooftop views
🤝 Incredible people

We spent the day exploring vendor booths, admiring George Sketches’ artwork, meeting entrepreneurs, listening to artist talks, and enjoying a celebration of African culture unlike anything we’ve experienced in Bangkok before.

The girls had so much fun and we loved seeing so many cultures come together in one beautiful space.

@wearekolour family night 🌺⭐️🪩

a night celebrating the power of music and most importantly: community. for a long time in my early 20's i was a big kolourian. since 'kolour in the park' (the og's who know, know 🫶🏼) i feel so blessed to be able to say i am a part of this beautiful and kolourful community, and being able to work with such an amazing team behind the scenes is a dream come true.

to @corankolour & @michellelangner the legends who make all this happen, proud is an understatement. with everything that's going on in the world right now, we all need a bit of kolour in our lives ✨ big and exciting things are coming soon! <3

also a big thank you to @bar.yard for the delicious location, food and drinks~

@monkidj kicking off the artist tours at @apt101club in our beloved city of bangkok was an absolute blast 🙏🏼
