I’m late posting, but wanted to remember my last hour in the space that is @intimatchannel basement. It’s nothing short of a commitment to provide a (literal) underground space where promoters, DJs, artists and dancers can build a community, and @djfiatluxx and @recurse._ , @arteamour @gcfmathew @__hayl0__ have given every weekend of theirs to Denver’s after hours scene since opening the space. They’ve continued to improve the space in the past year+ and have made it nothing short of a proper venue with their @danleysoundlabs system we all love. I can’t thank y’all enough for your friendship and hospitality, and the entire @intimatchannel family for being such good people. Y’all have provided Denver with a proper space and it’s greatly appreciated. The basement may be taken over by new tenants in time, but it will not be the same. I wish all of you the best on the next chapter and look forward to the next dancefloor adventure. Infinite love to y’all ❤️‍🔥 Big thanks to @allangallego for helping me setup my decks in less than 4 minutes. Great meeting you! 🫂

Join us as we celebrate the end of an era at the INTIMÄT basement. A heartfelt tribute to our community, our local scene, and the space that has given us countless unforgettable moments over the past two and a half years. Thank you for all the love and support you’ve shared. To our family, artists, staff, volunteers, neighbors, and everyone who has been part of this journey: we’re deeply grateful and incredibly proud of what we’ve built together. It’s a bittersweet transition. As one phase ends, another begins — and the future is shining bright ✨ We’re excited for everything that’s ahead ❤️ We’re thrilled to welcome two dear friends and talented artists, Allan Gallego and H1MOD from Florida — both long-time members of the INTIMÄT family. With this lineup, our intention is to spotlight a few of the many local artists who have been integral to INTIMÄT’s growth and spirit from the very beginning. 🌀 🌀 🌀 🌀 🌀 Allan Gallego Alex Whittier Annelise Dei Derek Poten Emyli Dahlia H1Mod J. So very grateful to everyone who came out last Friday! The support from the homies and the great vibes from the new faces made it a night to remember. To those folks that came to the party because I “put a flyer in their hand” – *hellz yes* you have no idea how much that warms the cockles of my old grey heart. Thank you for taking a chance on this old head who hadn’t promoted a party in 23 years. Fabulous sets from @kaceysolis @subrosaclassifiedmusic & @hectormoralez_ made a beautiful night and I truly enjoyed playing for y'all into the sunrise. Thanks to @intimatchannel for having a dope space, being lovely hosts, and for making my promoter job easy; all of the crew was genuinely kind and helpful. Special thanks to @funk_hunk for flyer design, setup, and even yardwork 0.o and to @kaceysolis for being my super duper co-conspirator on this one, helping all along the way. To the other promoters in this town keeping the underground alive, I cannot tell you how much I value what you do and how much I appreciate your support on this one! @hand_selected_denver_ @treehouse_collective_303 @selectionsevents @fancymatthew @nocturnal_den @heatsink.co Loved loved loved how few cameras were lurking on the dancefloor but also huge thanks to those who unobtrusively captured a little video to make this post <3<3. Last but not least, core @burbshousemusic fam, love you all and HBD to all the Leos. Support your local underground, love each other, and remember: this is black, queer music… respect the roots. Until we dance again…..
