We are still campaigning for the honor of being named Community Builder of the Year 2025 by way of the @riceawards! This is our innovative way of celebrating our journey, giving an inspirational word aligned with our affirmations, and vying for your support! Day Five: I Am Important! “Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Luke 12:6–7 💚 Importance is not about titles, wealth, or recognition: it is about knowing you matter to God. At JAB, we remind every child that they are seen, loved, and valuable. God takes time to number the hairs on our head…how could we ever believe we are insignificant? 💫 Today, walk boldly knowing you are important to God, and your voice, like your vote, carries weight. 👉 Vote here with your WIFI OFF!!!! : https://www.thericeawards.com/vote/ LINK IN BIOOOOO!!! Love yall! #RICEAwards2025 ☀️

June’s Academy of Ballet is honored to be a finalist for the 2025 RICE Awards (Rising In Community Excellence) – Community Builder of the Year! In the spirit of community, we are bringing you all inspirational devotions aligned with the affirmations that our kids recite before and after each empowerment ballet class! Day Four : I Am Pretty / I Am Handsome! Scripture: “You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you.” Song of Solomon 4:7 Yes, being pretty or handsome is more than what we see in the mirror, it’s the beauty of a heart filled with love, compassion, and purpose. The world solely defines beauty by appearance, but God calls us beautiful because we are made in His divine, most beautiful image. At JAB, we teach our dancers that true beauty shines from within, and that how they were created is so perfect. Flawless. Being born in an artificial intelligence, social media driven society, our children MORE THAN EVER must subconsciously know that they ARE the aesthetic, they are the MOMENT - because God said so! 💫 Today, remember that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Did you know you can vote for JAB, every 24 hours? Cast your vote as we continue to build the community with our self love through dance curriculum! Comment “I am pretty!” & “I am handsome!”if you have or will be voting today! Be sure your WiFi is turned off! Thank you, love you! 👉 Vote here DAILY until September 22nd: https://www.thericeawards.com/vote/ 🔗 in my bio!

In the spirit of community, we are bringing you all inspiration devotions aligned with the affirmations that our kids recite before and after each empowerment ballet class! Day Two: I Am Strong Scripture: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 Strength is not just physical, it’s the courage to face challenges and the endurance to keep going when things get hard. You should see them when we require them to hold their arm out in second position, or repeat a jump sequence over and over until they’re winded. But there’s purpose there: Our dancers build strength in their bodies, but more importantly, they build strength in their hearts. God’s strength reminds us that we are never too weak to rise again, to try again. 💫 Today, stand firm in the strength God has given you, and remember that through Him, you can do all things. I almost gave up on June’s Academy of Ballet during the summer & fall of last year after 6 years of empowerment but then these little girls you see here would have never been impacted like this 🥹🌹 Cadence being hospitalized, Cymphony making her way with lots of hormonal changes, and many other obstacles that only my nearest know about: really REALLY made me want to quit - but man, I’m so so glad I didn’t. This gift 🩰 This ministry ☀️ My God - is, has, and will continue planting seeds in these children that no one can ever take away. That’s crazy. Year 7. A magical day behind the lens! We had the absolute joy of capturing the heart of June’s Academy of Ballet with McBride Media, LaPrincess Ballet, and The Handberry Creative Studio—and what a day it was! From Abundant Life Early Learning Center to Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool, and inside our studio with both our 3/4-year-old ballerinas and our 5+ age groups, every tutu, twirl, and tender moment was a reflection of self-love in motion. Wow. We are so proud of them! These little ones have danced their hearts out all season long, and we can’t wait to celebrate their growth, courage, and confidence on stage! 🩰✨ Join us this Saturday as we honor their Self-Love Through Dance journey at our Spring Summer Empowerment Concert—an event filled with joy and purpose!
