Two Michelin star pub in Marlow by @cheftomkerridge with accommodation run by a happy crew of professional pirates 🏴‍☠️

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Another one ticked off the bucket list ✔️🥂Finishing off our 20th Wedding Anniversary celebrations.

Finally made it to @thehandandflowers for lunch and wow, it was absolutely amazing! 😍

The food, the service, the whole experience, it was just fabulous from start to finish. I’ve wanted to visit for such a long time and it definitely lived up to expectations.

Love finally ticking these places off my list… although I seem to keep adding more 🤣

Would definitely recommend ❤️

Celebrating 45 at The Hand & Flowers! 🥂

To celebrate my 45th birthday, I returned to Tom Kerridge’s stunning two Michelin-starred pub in Marlow, and it blew me away all over again. If you want the ultimate elevated British pub classic, this is the place to be.

Bold & Brilliant: Every single dish is an absolute powerhouse of rich flavors, paired with great presentation.

The Lunch Experience: We enjoyed the 3-course Saturday lunch. While the choices are more limited, every bite was delicious 😋

Pro-Tip for Future Foodies: While we were handed the fixed lunch menu, we later watched other tables receiving beautiful dishes from the House Menu!
We quickly asked and managed to upgrade our desserts for a supplement, but next time, we are diving straight into the house menu for maximum choice (even if it carries a higher price tag).

At £95 for 2 courses or £110 for 3 courses (plus the tempting house menu alternatives), it is a serious treat, but every penny is worth it for food this extraordinary.

Top Tips for Your Visit:

•Book months in advance if you're eyeing a coveted weekend slot!

•Ask your waiter about all available menus right away so you don't miss a single masterpiece.

I cannot recommend The Hand & Flowers enough. Whether you go for lunch or dinner, prepare for an unforgettable meal!

We do always listen and try and do our very best to give you the top level dining experience. Believe it or not this is not the first time we have heard this... Usually it’s after they have dined with us @handfmarlow 👀

2 years ago we got into watching The Great British Menu whilst watching Daniel from our favourite local restaurant The Gunroom at Plas Dinas Country Hotel compete against other top chefs in the UK. I said back then that I would love to eat at @cheftomkerridge pub The Hand & Flowers in Marlow! On Sunday we ended our short weekend away with a trip to this pub for Sunday lunch before travelling back to Anglesey. Was it worth the 1.5 hour journey in the wrong direction to get to the pub and the misery of the horrendous traffic on the way home? Why yes, yes it was!!! The food was absolutely stunning and the 20th anniversary Hattingley & The Hand and Flowers colab sparkling wine i enjoyed with dinner was so good i bought a bottle home!! Everything from the decor to the service and every single mouthful of food was just superb. I am so glad we made the journey to visit! Thank you @hywelrosenthal for treating me for my birthday 💕

The Hand & Flowers - Marlow stay 🥂✨

Birthday girl logic says that when Dinner, Bed & Breakfast is usually £685 but you get it for £295, it's basically free.

That's just maths. 💅🏼😂

And honestly? We absolutely loved it.

A gorgeous room, beautifully looked after, and our own private hot tub on the terrace, which is exactly the sort of thing that makes you wonder why you don't have a hot tub at home.

The shower was quite possibly big enough for a family of five. 😂

The bed was ridiculously comfortable.

Everything felt thoughtful and really well taken care of.

And then there were the little details...

We came back after dinner to find homemade hot chocolate and cookies waiting in the room. 🥹

For a birthday night away, this was exactly what I needed, beautiful surroundings, brilliant food, a bit of luxury and absolutely no need to check what time we had to be up for work the next morning.

Would I stay again? Absolutely.

And if you're looking for somewhere for a special occasion in the UK, I'd definitely put The Hand & Flowers on the list. 💜

Have you ever had a stay where the little touches made as much difference as the room itself? 👇🏼
